yeh man,,,,F2 show all the recessive traits,,,,,,,,,incrossing is used by topclass breeders

F1 is stable !!!!!,but maybe the recessive geans available in the F2 will impress you more than dominant genes available in the F1

:)

If your looking for NL try BCSC #5 or Joey weeds. High grades is crap, imho, grew it out and nothing like real NL. Huge plants with huge inter node spacing.

The "huge internode spacing" sounds like a NL#2, thai sativa dominant :)

The NL#5 is the short stocky one :joint:

Nirvana's NL is a really good one and not expensive at all, plants grow fast as hell and are like clones. Great buzz and good yields.

I just ordered seeds yesterday because I need more indica to help me sleep/relax.

Ordered NL #5 and Big blue (NL #5 x blueberry) from highgrade seeds.
Also ordered Grapegod (grapefruit x godbud) and romulan maxx from next generation seeds.

So hopefully in 3-4 months I'll have some of them to smoke, maybe cross some males with my clone only "ec" sour diesel, though I have no experience in making seeds.

I wouldn't buy f2s though, you buy f1s and make your own. That is why f1 are so attractive your not buying one strain, your buy dozens.

thank you everyone. I apreciate everyones ideas.. Keep them coming. I really hope the NL helps with pain...

so ive def got it down to a NL cross or simlar.. Pref NL x Afghan or other indica notthing more sativa than NL x Skunk.

Some times I see people advertising seeds as f2's.. I could have swarn f2's are the most unstable family. f1 is usualy best due to hybrid vigor.. IBL are mutant soo I guess im looking for a good f1 of 2 IBL's Nothern lights x skunk???

any thoughts?

u want f1s and inbred lines if your building a mom cab or possibly doing some crosses. a well inbred line is inbred for certain traits the rest are left variable so as to preserve vigor. Sometimes this is not the case but it is ideal. I find that most breeders price inbred lines the highest so f1s are usually the better buy.

IBL stands for Inbred-Backcrossed-Line or Inbred-Line,,,,,,,this is the best,,,,<<<<<only high level reeders do this<<<<<<<<<

Doesn't need to be backcrossed does it? Think the B defintiely stands for Bred. Isn't bxing just a way of saving time so as to avoid proper selections?

i dont want to confuse things but TERMS are allways confusing

BC = the real name for BackCross
IL = the real name for IncrossedLine
IBL = Inbred Backcrossed line,,,,,,,,

but, some people DO use the term IBL for "I"n-"B"red-"L"ine,,,,,,

Backcrossing shows you a raito,,,,,,,when the ratio of plants is observed it tells you loads about the genes,,,,ya know what im sayin bro

backcrossing also fixes traits,,,,but the observation of ratio is extreemly improtant for firther breeding

back crossing is very useful in stabilizing traits but it also leads to loss of vigor and mutant plants if done too much. I couldn't see doing it more than once or twice during a 5-6 generation selection program. What do you guys think?

ye homie, would say go with a a ibl indica, something like a mazar (although it was weak in the buzz department, it got rid of the after work aches), and ice was moderate in pain releif, but to me was more of a upper, active, energizing smoke... purple Kush, was a all around pleasure, afghan was ''sleep through the'' pain releif, but thats all that really stands out in my head....

side note: alot of people that have grown out the Ice from nirvana have been getting a more indica version as of late, than the Ice that i remember and decided to keep and im a little upset that cats didnt keep a clone for me like they said they would, but thats another story.

good day and luck homie...

If you want a big dense NL, look no further than Atomic NL. If you want it with some flavor, Atomic's Blueberry Jam.. (NLxBB)

Want bigger? Critical Mass from Mr. Nice?

Chronic from Serious? Both are just oldschool ghanni/skunk crosses.
