Ive settled on Biobizz coco. Ive tried Biobizz > Phase 1 > sunleaves > sunleaves chunky

I'll never use chunky shit again, it caused problems in late flower

What are peoples opinion of sunshine pro just coir? It's the only brand the nearest shop carries so that's what I got. This will be my first run in coco.

Does it need to be pre flushed or is it good straight out of the bag?

Any problems with this brand? Tried finding info on it and all I come up with is canna and bcuzz. Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm new to coco, Someone please fill me in, I don't think im understanding anything properly. So, those BeatsPeat coco bricks are 7-9$ each, and they're 3 CU FT. Which equates to 22.4 gallons. And you're buying 2 gallons of COCO(uncompressed) for 22$??????? How bad is the compressed stuff then?

Is there a reason why sunshine is considered a basement mix?
Basement Mix is a coco based substrate made by Humboldt Flower Products.
Sunshine makes Just Coir, not Basement Mix.
Different products.

Compressed Coco Bricks:
I could see compressed losing it's capability to hold a ton of air, but we could just easily suppliment it with the money we save? like buy 4 gallons of perlite and a (22.4 gallons of)beats peat brick for the cost of one (2 gallon) hydro bag of coco coir? I mean, buying name brand shit is always great, but the math just isn't calculating properly in my head. I guess I'll just have to try it and see how bad it is supposed to fail? ;)

Thanks for telling me that brand! Just googled it and got a good deal. Even with shipping, it's half the price of the bagged stuff in the hydro shop and a way better deal than the one I thought was a good one a few days ago. Good thing I didn't buy it yet.
