Read my story, and tell me if you think I would be in jail if I was a minority
So I was just walking through my neighbor hood, listening to my head phones enjoying the day. I got to the next set of homes near mine, and This little white guy gets out of the car with a walky radio in his hand and starts saying hey you dont live hear what are you doing hear. I said Just having a stroll through the neighbor hood, a can help you? Then he said oh I'm police btw, and I said ok. He said are you aware you are gated private property, and I said no, but I'll leave if I need too. He said Well you are trespassing, which I wanst, all the property around there is owned by the same company. Then he said There has been a string of burglaries around here and I'm gonna have to check you out. Let me see your i.d. so I give it too him and then he starts grilling me. Then he runs my shit, and I have a warrant out for a traffic ticket, so I half expect to go to jail for a day a this point, so I said look just check my pockets and run my shit, no need to grill me, just get your shit over with. I had nothing on me, and I didnt feel like arguing. so I go to empty my pockets and he is like whoa get your hands out of your pockets, thats a good way to get an elbow upside your head, or shot. I respond well thats a good way to get sued becuase I already told you what I was doing, and Have been 100% cooporative, so striking me would be view as unlawful use of force. So he continued to grill me and then said I'm not arresting you but dont comeback around here. Well I'm gonna take care of the ticket now, and I'm gonna walk over there again if I fucking want, and then if he harasses me I'm gonna call his department and complain about be harassed twice for no reason, and a violation of my rights. Then I am gonna hand him a lawyers card, and say call him if you have further questions.
He is lucky I had that ticket I forgot about, or I would be suing the department already.
and I am lucky I'm white, because that guy looked like mark ferman.
