Also two pics of Kashmiri Twisted garda, upside and down. The white streaks are corn leaves (the resin is pressed within corn leaves by a twisting motion). TOtally different one than Afghani or anything else. Very hard and powdery texture, strong psychedelic ultra positive high. gets you to the stars.

Khuda Hafeez !

that afghani sure looks yummy! thx 4 the info
but what you said on the kashmiri hash i have to disagree
i smoked it more than enough in goa, paravati, in kashmir itself and i think its no near that high you described i think of it as a stoned more than cerebral and not that potent at all to compare with other kinds of hash i smoked...
but nice pics and intersting info...
about that afghani..is it one of the best varaties there is ..?
peace MD:watchplant:

Hi :)

smell is strong sweet, floral and more like weed than normal marocan, nice melty stuff, very soft and oily... high is rel. strong...

still only have my old compact cam, so pictures aren't that great ;)

good vibes

Hey all !

smoking the jardallah right now. a little post cause it deserves it. very strong uplifting high, fill you with positive vibrations, def something i'ld smoke any day :) It s a creeper, takes around 10 to 15 to even more to hits, you feel the rush, colors looks a bit clearer too. I m not sure wether it could be water hash or not.
It taste more herbal than most morrocon, but you can tell it is def from morroco, as it has a slight earthy morrocon taste behing.
but the high is nothing like any moroccon i ve smoked. this could come from jamaican herb, not sure, but at least i would guess it comes from some very dominant sativas.
the high is very similar to the 15 weeks jamaican phenotype of the jamaican pearl i ve grown.
something you should try if it comes around !

Hi Titoon29, i think you are right.. I just come back few days ago from Rif Mountains, some farms around there have been working with jamaican seeds.

Hashish from first bach of seeds are awesome. Maybe you scored that, or maybe Mexicana. This last has a superb sativa aroma seems as kali mist aroma.

One man told me that they used to call Hardalah the mix of differents raw sieved pollen from differents seeds, kiffi, mexican and paki if i remember well.

This pic is Hardallah mix pollen re-sieved and pressed by hand at the hotel.:dance013: ..in somewhere over the Rif.:dance013:

Best wishes

the op GoldenBud mentioned the hashes were more relaxing than buds in a lot cases. i have found the same with limited smoking of blond hash from Lebanon supposedly and a few other darker hashes.

I smoked this has back in 70's and 80's btw. have not gotten any dispensary hash, only buds so far. the imported hash is all but gone now. i'm in california. any thoughts on this?

i am going to grow out a few indica landraces from pakistan and afghanistan and likely try to make some hash of my own.

Really ? That's interesting... Never had the slightest stoned effect from a Kashmiri twisted gardah. Scored some in 2002, 2006 & 2007, in different places and of different freshness and all of them had that wonderfull up-lifting & spiritual effect. My kashmiri friends I shared with felt the same about it and loved to smoke it while listening sufi music, precisely because of it's mood up-lifting, spiritual & meditative effect.
I have smoked stronger hash too, but none with a high of such quality.

I remember about once when I was in Paharganj, arrived two days before and having smoked only some low quality reprocessed charas, the place was starting to get its toll on my nerves for some reason (kinda mad place, but love it !). I was about to explode when a Kashmiri buddy working there brought me a tola of twisted gardah. It took only a few hits to wipe away all tension & put a wide happy smile on my face. After smoking my joint I went to the Internet cafe and the thing was pushing strong with rushes making me feel like sitting on a rocket piercing through the skies.

It's the very first time I hear about someone experiencing a stoning effect from Kashmir twisted gardah. Where the people smoking with you experiencing same quality of effect ?

about that afghani..is it one of the best varaties there is ..?

This is from Shebarghan, in Uzbek Afghanistan. As my chacha says "It's like a grenade, Booom". Most probably strongest hash in Afghanistan, wacks you like nothing else. First joint you smoke is almost violent, not for beginners. Full melt, would put to shame many ice, bubble & I don't know what else western-made hash.

Nice pics Titoon & Dimajones, they look pretty yummy, even though I am against the introduction of oreign strains in Morocco (or anywhere else as a matter of fact...).

i am going to grow out a few indica landraces from pakistan and afghanistan and likely try to make some hash of my own.

Don't forget to give the buds, or resin, enough curing time so as to reveal the full flavours & effects of the resin, thus turning it into hashish ! A few months is necessary for best results.

If you can find some packs of Female Seeds Maroc, I'd grab em, will only grow well outdoors, cut with the cali climate they will thrive. Superb hash plants, lots of resin, authentic Moroccan. The taste will differ a bit from Moroccan grown in Morocco due to differences in climate and most importantly, soil, but I highly recommend it for making your own Moroccan.

Deep Chunk would be my choice for making my own soft black Afghan hash as it's taste reminds me of Afghan Black back in the day and it's got stupid amounts of resin, another one that grows better outdoors.

For Lebanese, you will have to either try The Real Seed Co's Lebanese which yields really big and hates nutes or the Blue Hemp Lebanese which I've not seen many reports on but has a good rep. Real Seed Company have quite a few strains from hash producing areas so there is a fair bit of scope for making your own authentic exotic hashes, love to see a thread if you do, it;s one of my dreams to be able to grow lots of hashish cultivars just to make hash from.

BlueHemps Leb is just Leb27 or LEb30 from Denmark but what i heard its not sooo good in warm climates..it seems to need some cold night!!! of course a big fielder with a nich smoke nerver made hash out of it...but gunna did!!

I didn't know it was Leb 27! I forgot about that one. I have some Leb27 x Hindu Kush from esbe I keep meaning to try.

Maroc for Moroccan
Leb27 for Lebanese
Deep Chunk for Afghani

Sounds like a good starting point to me. Throw in some Nepalese to rub for charas and you'd have a nice selection indeed.

hi mriko!

:) was expecting you around for that ^^ i def have to agree a bit, but smoking that jardallah i also have to disagree a bit...

you have to try it, coz it is really strange to see a morrocon typed (color, part of the smell) hash produce this kind of effects ! Thinking about it, i ld say it reminds me of some commercial(amsterdam) but good charas i smoked. i m really sure you ld love that.

now on the pollution of the genepool, well if the pollution is some carribean landrace, it s not that bad for me ! i ld love to see some picts of the plants the jardallah is from, to see if they have been acclimated or it is their first grow. but from that morrocon part of the taste, i m really not sure it could be happening on a non acclimated plant.

always great to see you around with all that hash knowledge ! ++

I've seen a very special phenotype of that plant, finishing mid august, very early flowering.. but didn t smoke it... not sure if anyone cares ^^ lol

I am growing the leb at the moment, from seeds made from the blue hemp version. I really like the pink hairs on some, and the smell, not that strong but very deep fuely smell, i have to make some hash from those !
picture.php

If you want more info about it, indoor or outdoor, i ve written about it in my thread of my grow in my signature, on the last two pages. I wouldn t recommand it indoor as it have some decent resin production, but well selected afghani would produce twice as much i bet.

also I have a friend who s gonna make some dry sieve with outdoor buds, it should be amazing..

I have a question also about charras, i think it should be the best place to ask with all hash expert around here.
Does the resin kind of regenerates/grow again, if you rub the plant all flowering long ? i'm pretty sure it doesn't, but that charras production makes me wonder why don t they wait until the plant is fully mature to get the best trichomes ? just to get constant cash flow ? or cause at the end there is too much resin ? thanks in advance for your replies !

Thanks for all the ideas, indifferent, Mriko and any others. Yes, I will be growing indoors under led's and cfl's. I have ordered mazar i shariff from real seeds and afghan kush, pakistan valley indica, and ketama from World of Seeds.

I thought to go with the indicas first as I am looking for mellowing out as opposed to getting really 'high'. I understand from reading here that the blond Lebanese(could have been Moroccan?) i used to smoke was a sativa and no uncomfortable feeling from that.

It DOES hate nutes indeed. I gave mines same dosage than with my commercial strains and I ended up with some pretty hempy buds and poor resin (although nice citrus scent). Low water & low feeding is key with this one.

you have to try it, coz it is really strange to see a morrocon typed (color, part of the smell) hash produce this kind of effects ! Thinking about it, i ld say it reminds me of some commercial(amsterdam) but good charas i smoked. i m really sure you ld love that.

I'm sure I would ! I have no doubt at all that it is certainly a pleasant smoke !

now on the pollution of the genepool, well if the pollution is some carribean landrace, it s not that bad for me ! i ld love to see some picts of the plants the jardallah is from, to see if they have been acclimated or it is their first grow. but from that morrocon part of the taste, i m really not sure it could be happening on a non acclimated plant.

I know that there had been some experiment done in the 80s or 90s with strains from Colombia, and maybe Jamaica. But it remained on a quite low scale.

Whatever the origins or personnal tastes, introduction of foreign strains is not good and has occured on such a scale in the past decades, with both Western commercial strains & foreing landraces, that it represents now a real threat for the moroccan genepool which represents a particular sativa-dominant population which has remained isolated for centuries, if not more. This is too great a loss, a loss we can't afford.
Plus, those foreing strains oftenly needs lots of water, way more than the local one which is perfectly acclimated to the dry local environment. Resource are scarce and would these strains expand too much, the implications might go beyond genepool alteration.

No it doesn't.
Usually farmers wait for the right time before harvesting I think. I mean, those who know their work, and love it, certainly don't ruin it with some ill-times harvesting. But economic priorities can indeed force some to do some early rubbing. I have scored a few times some early-season charas and it lacked both taste and effect. Climatic conditions might be of some influence as a rainy week can be enough to ruin the crop, so better to harvest a bit too soon, than nothing at all ! Well, just my 2 cents...
