Hanuman, that's part of what is puzzling me. Thick leaves, short squatty plant, VERY dark leaves, fan leaves as big as my hand, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

Faded, look at the second pic I posted. Color is identical from what I can see, as are the width of the leaves, etc. How long ago did you get yours? I got mine in late September or thereabouts. I'm digging for the other patient's number who worked at that dispensary, I wonder if he has a momma? Hmmm....

yeah i got her about a little over a month ago. havent flowerd her out. but i hear shes real nice exotic smoke. she looks good man. i know there is another cut that comes out of SD, rainman, another member runs her. she is more sativa, the norcal version is indica.

I have a very pissy LaNina, and I've come across a few others. 2 that come to mind as REALLY pissy were a pakalolo seedplant (haw sat x sk1), and a Shit (sk1) that I ran for a while. It does seem like the piss 'rides' with pine, and after a good cure, the piss fades while the pine/fuel/menthol stays.
i have had particular double dutch's, MNS spice and DTC99's........that have smelled/tasted like cat piss....i know what peeps mean about SSH as well, but i find that slightly more musky than pissy.
Double Dutch is the most likely, imo, it is very squat and chunky. ive grown it out a few times, and a lot of the tastes were very much in the cat pissy/beefy spectrum

This is completely wrong. Cutting is probably out of the picture, but clones are possible in flower, they just take longer to root/revert to veg. Revegging is definitely the route you should be taking. Just harvest it, and leave several of the lowest buds on there, and put it under some low light for at least 18 hours a day, feeding lightly. Within a month or two, depending on how this particular strain responds to revegging, you will have new growth. It will look odd at first, but it will continue and then look like a regular vegging plant.

That's fine, I was just trying to make sure that no wrong information was spread. Someone reading that that had no prior knowledge on the subject would be inclined to agree, until they came upon a differing view.

My double gum plant smells of some kind of piss when curing in the jar. It is a really nasty smell that thankfully doesn't transfer into taste. The taste is definitely a really powdery bubble gum taste.
Everyone who smells my Oaxacan Gold (from a distance) remarks that it smell like catpiss, and yet they're always surprised that a bud up close smells nothing like it. But the tomato hint is also there, so maybe that's the connection? Tomato plants can smell a bit pissy sometimes...
