If you could get a closeup picture that would be most helpful.

I noticed in my Veg the pH was spiking and needed adjusting on a daily basis. I had some leaf problems in the beggining but they stabalized once I started flowering and I only needed to adjust ph when I added more solution every 3rd day. I fill to about 60 gallons for about 45 pots.
When I adjust I try to pH between 5.2-5.5. Usually gets up to 6.2 by the time I refill. Doesn't hurt the plants now, but when I was in Veg a climb that big could happen in a day, and was stressing the plants.
If time permits you may want to measue and adjust pH twice daily.

Also, it may be taking too long to fill and drain and you are venturing into the blurred line between DWC and Ebb and Flow. Not sure, just a guess. That is why I run 3/4" line and no more that 8 pots to a line. Have six lines coming out of my control bucket. Using digital timer, usually takes a little more that 7min to fill and 7min to drain...about 15min total. Which is right where a lot of people say is the max time it should take on an Ebb and Flow. Next go around I am going to up some of my diameters, put less pots on a line and try and get that number even lower.

Good luck.
Remember, pictures are not just for showing off when things look good.

By the way, how is Tipton doing? That guy is a riot, I just hope I'm not that frazzlled when I am his age.

hey guy's whats up so i think mycomputer is up and running again atleast for a little while lol. so hears some pics of my buds just day's before we cut them down and hears a few pics of the plants in veg. even though the roots look white and healthy at the bottom can they still be root rotted farther up in the rocks causing problems? thats the only thing i can think of. iv'e been using sm-90 but is there a better product for restoring root health?
wells hears some pics. happy growing

Nice to see you paving the way for a nice legal career. I'm curious though, do you pay federal taxes on what you sell? How do you declare your income? Keep up the good work!

I have a dream....

I have a dream....

Greetings rmccinc719!

I've recently discovered this forum and I must say that you have quite an extensive grow operation going on. You know that's illegal right? :)

But no kidding, my favorite thread yet. I will definately be paying very close attention to it, so make sure you update it frequently!

I've been smoking for a few years now and every day my craving to grow big, dank, stinky, sticky, icky, mundo, buds like the one's you're so daringly producing on a massive scale, expands at the rate of the universe itself. *gasp*

I'm planning on growing as soon as graduate and move out. So, about a year and a half minimum, three absolute max. How soon I start growing of course depends on how quickly I can accumulate all my resources of course. :tumbleweed:

I'm planning on writing a thread in the mean time called "Hypothetical grow" or something along those lines. Basically I will just outline what my plan is and fine tune it as recommended by the pro's. Outlining the basics of course such as lighting, nutrients, medium... you get my point.

The basics are essential of course but it's quite obvious that going out of your way to do everything beneficially possible that results in buds that leave you saying "To infinity and beyond"

Yes, Buzz Lightyear tokes. Isn't it obvious?:smokeit:

So enough jibber jabber. I don't want to seem like a loud mouth know it all with nothing constructive to contribute to this smokers haven. Too late?

So here's a few questions I'd appreciate if you answered to contribute to my up and coming thread.

First of all, power. At any given time you're running up to 16k watts and that's just in lights! Right? How much does it cost to run an operation like yours is what I'm asking really. Just in electricity nothing else.

Second, friends. I'm almost positive you aren't growing all those sticky lasses by yourself. Forgive me if you have already disclosed this information in an earlier post. How many people does it take, or do you use rather, to keep your operation, well.... operating?

Security is another issue I am concerned about. This is in a warehouse you said in the title. Do you constantly have someone there making sure no one breaks in? A security system? Not that it would do any good when the cops follow up on the call and find what your hiding :hide:
Location is another factor I will be covering. Is yours in a somewhat remote location? A commercial area? Close to residences? Please go into detail. The street address, city, state... :whistling:

WHERE IS IT!

haha just kidding!

But seriously, I'd like to know a little bit about the outside surroundings of the building. Do you share it with others? Like a large warehouse rented to several others. Is there a lot of people coming and going around the area?

That's enough for now. Even I'm starting to think this is too long. Damn that was some good pot....

Thanks for being born!

I've heard good things about Dutch Master Zone and Hydrozyme. I use nutriboost, but have recently had the root rot from over watering too high water level, bad STG drowning my plants.

I love see in the buckets go.

Peace, :joint:

hey guy's how's it going. thanks for stopping by and checking things out. hears a little update before i answer any questions. we finnally got all of our first room clipped and dried and ended up with 6.8lbs. not to bad for a first go around but i thing i can get ten lbs from my second room. as for my sick plants they seem to finnally be getting better. alot of the leaves were standing back up and there drinking water again. i also noticed my humidity is back up to normal #'s so there drinking good and transpiring moisture into the air. we plant on flipping today or tommarrow.
now to answer some questions. gr33nthumb to answer your question yes we do pay fedral taxes but you would have to ask my accountant about how it's filed.

pineydoobey how's it going. electricity is a tricky one. I'm currently running 21k lights and i haven't had a utility bill over $50 yet. yeh sounds crazy but in our case the land lord is billing us for utility because they were to cheep to finish seperating our units with some others so we are benifiting big time. we probably should be paying closer to a grand a month. i have one partner and we do all the work ourselves except come harvest. my mom, brother and my partners brother come to help us during harvest. we have security with an alarm and camera's and the cops can come whenever they feel like. were not trying to hide just be discreet. this is a legal grow op so no hiding from mr.popo. we are in a commercial wharehouse in a in a biusness district no homes, schools or churches to deel with. hope this answers some of your questions. i need to take the boy to school so i'll hit you guy's up later. happy growing

50 bucks??

50 bucks??

Wow you're one lucky SOB 50 bucks a month is a score in my book! 21k watts good god man. How many lumens per sq ft do you think you're workin with. And you said you aren't worried because it's a legal grow op? How many plants are you allowed to grow in your state? What is the limit? How would you recommend hiding an electric bill? If one had an illegal grow op. What would be the best cover for your location? Workshop? Do tools use alot of power to run every month? :dunno:

yeh we are definatly lucky for now it won't last. but we are preparred to be paying $1000+ a month. we caregive for 16 people out of this biulding so we only grow 90 plants from this warehouse. in colorado it's 6 plants per card holder but we don't want to grow more than 99 plants per location to stay under federal manditory sentencing laws if the feds were to ever come after us. personally i think there are alot bigger fish to fry before they came looking for my small little opp. when it come to electricity who's to say how much power is being used in a commercial warehouse district. i bet $1000 a month in utilities is small change for some of these other biusnesses around hear. i was a tattoo artist for 15 years and we spent 600 a month just to heat our biulding. so if your in the right area 15 to 20k lights is small time in energy used for that area.

Kelly.

i still cant believe this, lol

keep up the great work and keep the pictures rolling in!

I concur

I concur

I wholeheartedly agree with you. In say a machine shop or some other manufacturing company where you might be running say welders, plasma cutters, a heater for the attached tattoo shoppe ;)
I would think it'd be real easy to use that much power. But, if it's an illegal grow, which it more than likely will be -__- (damn you government!) it has to look the part. But then again, bigger fish, like you said, will be fried first.

I like fish taco's :D

How many Oz's are you allowed to grow per person you caretaker for? Or is it just however much there said 6 plants yield? Do you grow certain plants for each patient? Or does everyone just get a set amount of whatever is produced in total?

It's not that I wouldn't like to take care of people, but I just don't see myself in that line of work. I want to grow because I enjoy it and know I could make a hefty profit from it. And of course to see if I can add anything to the cannabis connoisseur record books. Oh yea and I like smoking pot :) especially if I grew it! I'd be so stoked! But if fear growing for money and the sake of getting high alone is what might get me busted. Karma in other words. Maybe you have been so lucky because you are doing it for a good reason? :dunno:

You DEA or something man???

First off.
STOP saying it will probably be an illegal grow op! I can't help you!

Second.
You probably want to take Florida off of your location. Unless you are DEA of course, because I hear they really like that state.

Third.
Get your state to legalize medical mj. Then you can do what this guy is doing, legally.

wow i think i finnally got my computer to load up some pics. these were taken just before harvest. enjoy. :smokeit:
