SG's Hempy Grow Show - Satori, Double Bubble, PRxPK, Skunk #1

I had a bunch of stuff to do tonight, so I thought I'd take a few pics.

I usually don't do a paint edited drawing, but the flower room is finally full and I thought people might be interested to see what's going on it there. Over the past monthish or so I have staggered putting in between 2-4 plants in every 8-10 days. Some are bigger confirmed females being run for good smoke, some are smaller unknowns being run for sex and smoke tests.

So the room is full now. There is one PRxPK runt coming out in 2 weeks and will probably not be replaced in order to give a little more space to those inside. In fact, after PRxPK pheno1 gets run again, I am ditching both PR x PK pheno 1 and 2 due to the awesome number of new seeds I have for my search for the purple monster!

Also put all the new seed babies into hempy cups to veg out for a while. This is actually the first time I am happy they are so young and will take a while to get big enough for the flower room lol

Looking good SG. I like the paint work you did....it reminded me of those cartoons where they show a cow and all the cuts of beef within the cow. (I'm high & don't know if you follow me on that or not) blah blah....Anyway, great to see the bloom room full and working. Be safe man.

there is no way that pkxpr is done yet...i wouldnt even say 3 weeks by the looks of her! the non-purple phenos might take after the kush side and might need to go 66+ days plus! I assume its the one that was 5 weeks last week...being 6 weeks this week....that might need to go to 70 days....just keep postin pics and ill tell you when to flush her....ill put her in that sweet spot for ya~!

yup, you are right bro, it is no where near done yet. last night i counted from 11/23, and thatd be only 60 days and i knew i had to keep her for 70, my bad bro! and yup, its the same one as before.

let's shoot for 70 days, yea? i'll keep postin those pics for you, you let me know when to pull that 2 week flush trigger

What up folks, here is a quick update for all. Sorry for the lack of attention in here, things have been busy at work / home.

Things are going very well, all the plants seem and look happy as hell (knock on wood) and I'm excited about that. The seedlings are all still alive and growing quite nicely. The 4 Happy Brother x ChemD I just put in are looking like 2 male and 2 female, which is fine with me, I'll use both.

I love the kush and anything PK. So is stubby from seed or clone? With the low finger count on leaves and the single bud I'd think a late in flower clone that didn't reveg / veg for long, or a stressed plant causing the branches not to spread. No matter how she got there she is looking good now. The hair are really white she may be 9 or 10 weeks till fully purple and ripe. These are just my stoned thoughts I'm sure the breed could tell you way better

Stubby is from seed and she is a stressed plant. From what I can tell, I think I was using too much pH down (or using it improperly) and it wasn't mixing up well, so I'd take a pH reading and it'd be ok but leave that jug for a couple hours and it was super low. Anyways, I started seeing ALL my plants get the deformed leaves, single and weird triple ones ... stopped using the pH down and everything looks great now. In fact, they have never looked better. That is why I am giving the same clone another run properly and hopefully we will see some better results.

I'm sure the smoke will be ok, it will just be one 5" x 16" nug lol. I am going to give her until like week 9 or 10, you agree with that?

I have had avg results with popping seeds in RR's and don't really know or understand what I am missing. I'm getting excellent results with cuttings but I need to get better with the seeds. thanks & be safe!

what up dubwise ... thank you for the kind words . hopefully i can steer you towards some decent seed popping results.
basically, i throw all the seeds in paper towels all folded up and soaked in plain h2o. I give them about 24-36 hrs in a closet that stays at a very steady and delightful 79.6 degrees F (don't ask me how, i think there are hot water pipes running through the back). Most of them have broken through the shell by then and then they go into the RRs ... that USED to be my worst part, because i never had them in the right medium. but the RRs are the perfect amount of moisture and oxygen and they surely thrive. then i just leave 'em in the cloner / RR tray until they pop and go!

pretty simple, just be patient and let them be, they are a weed after all ... they just want to grow! goodluck bro, i'm here if you need anything!

I've been in the woods for a few days but now it's back to work. Everyone is lookin good, things are starting to get FAT in there, i love it.

this is sk#1, only like 3 weeks in I think, pretty awesome plant, again sorry about the hPS

this is the 13 seedlings (and one OHxSK1 in front), all doing great. very excited about this round.

this is the method i use to collect pollen:

first I bend the boys, these boys are at about a week into flower, starting to get big and fat. these happen to be the Happy Brother x ChemD, but in time I will get pollen from all my boys.

then i trim up some of the lower leaves so as not to interupt the pollen droppings

then i put them in the self contained box another room with only a 26W CFL in there, they don't need a ton of light

and finally a nice and clean black piece of plastic used to see and collect pollen
