Mixxed/Random Seed Packs

Hey there, I'm thinking about getting a pack of mixxed seeds, where you dont know what youre getting (EG. Soma Salad)
Anyone ever bought these, and if so which ones can you recommend, also, even if not bought which breeders do you guys know who make seed packs like this?

latinomies - Many breeders have mixed packs. Most contain unique crosses, but Mr Nice dreamtime contains the regular lines. Personally I'd go w/ Mr.Nice, Ace, Mandala, Legends, and Cannabiogen. They all offer mixed packs that sound tempting. I have only done the Mr.Nice.

Did you find any gems in your mixed pack?
Do most people have their actual genes in there packs, or is there some which contain their parent genetics?

At the moment Sboo has Sensi Seeds indoor mix pack going for a VERY reasonable price! Their mix pack contains mostly skunks and indicas from their indoor and greenhouse range. And also a likely chance of recieving some of their high class indicas. What makes it tempting is the fact that you get 25 seeds in a pack! As 3dDream mentioned above also Mr. Nice seeds does the same thing. Cannabiogen's mix pack contains crosses using their established strains but not the strains listed as their usual offerings..

I would go with either Sensi or Mr. Nice mix pack because of:- 1) price, 2) amount of seeds, 3) they mix the strains they normally sell.

Ace is good if you want mostly sativa... Legends would be good but I asked Red about the mix pack from Legends last year and he said that they are crosses and not a range of Legends established lines.. Mandala would be good if you want the 'landrace' factor..

I picked up a mixed pack from Willy Jack a few yrs. back - grew some dandy weed from it.

Now that I'm more comfortable with growing, I prefer specific strains rather than a grab-bag.

But I have picked up some mixed packs from SBay (OP mix, etc.), and I was happy to get them for small $$$, but knowing they had some awesome genetics...

:yeahthats I totally agree with Classyathome... Sbay is a great place for mix packs of great genetics.. Mosca offers a great mix pack because it only has two strains in it both of which will probably be awesome..

i grabbed one of rez' mixed packs last drop $40.00.can't beat it..i like mixed packs, always a surprise..
you just never know..also spice of life has a mixed pack, probably a nice surprise in there..

damn a rez mix pack for 40 man wish i had a chance to get my paws on some of those!

The seeds in most Mix packs are as good in quality as any other seeds in regular seed packs ,, most seed banks are the same in this respect... a mix pack is just a mix pack that offers variety!

Basically,, if ya dont care about names and labels,, then mix-packs are the cheaper way forward and hold many gems... Adventure Mix from Spice of Life was the most sort after mix pack in its time!!

Today,, then Growdoc's GDS Mix is for the indica growers...
... and the FRT Pacific Mix pack helps cover the sativa heads... :bandit:

Tiki mix had good germ rate, nice vigours plants well mixed with fast flowering indicas and sativas. I picked it up for only twenty clams definitely worth every penny if you like some different flavors and highs.

The Sag mix I've grown out a couple of times and found a few winners each time but the germ rates weren't as good and there were a few more mutants. Pretty sure I found a bubbleberry and a western winds so the thirty bucks was worth it.

Got MSN dreamtime in the fridge. An insane 18 seeds for under fourty. Should be good.

I love having variety on hand for different moods, also switching things up to skirt tolerance.

It's an adventure. And not always easy as different plants have different needs and come in unpredictable shapes and sizes.

Im pretty sure some mix packs are made up of the stray seeds thats cant be identified after sorting and seperating varities to be packaged

That's myth !

Maybe go chat with any breeder that puts out Mix Packs and you'll soon understand how damaging it would be for any breeder to stock sub-standard seed lines.

Indeed. FRT Pacific Mix packs do contain otherwise unreleased varieties,, new genetics,, and seeds that were anonymously donated to fritillary seed collective. All lines were subjected to germination tests prior to release,, and growers have since documented how FRT Pacific Mix packs grow with equal health and vigor to the other seed lines FRT offer.

I agree fully. Sensi Seeds Mixed pack is cheap and you get 25 beans in there. Guaranteed to find a keeper. Mr. Nice also is on top of things with his mixed pack. You can`t go wrong either way. I believe someone mentioned Chimera`s mix pack as well. Chimera does not put out garbage so I can imagine there will be some headbanger boogie in his packs as well. Just my :2cents: Keep It GreeN...and Safe!

i was just gonna ask the same question. i always buy the traditional packs of seeds, never a mixed pack, and i was still trying to narrow down who to go with. so far, this is what im choosing between.

-ace mix-i like the landrace factor (love seeing the spaniards rock these online)

-cannbiogen deluxe mix-seems a little more appealing than the ace mix

-chimeras ulitmix-if seed boo would put some up!

-legends mountain mix-i never met a canadian, (or their genetics), i didnt like. i really love bc weed.

-mr nice walkabout-great price for 18 of shantis seeds

-spice of life adventure mix-another great deal, it seems.
