anyone use 18/6 light schedule when using their cloner. I recently have always had 90-95% success with my cloner using 24 hour lights. Now this is not possible and i am wondering if i will still have a nice percentage. Thanks.

i am glad i gave mine away. 50/50 perlite and any soil in 9 to 16 oz size cups. i quit hydro and didnt want to have to handle clones 2x.

A question for anybody using the EZ cloner, I notice in some pics that theirs an external air pump. Not all pics though. and when I asked about that at the local 'dro shop, they claim no air pump comes with it.
Whats the deal, pump or no? And what exactly does the pmup do, aerate the water or blow air into the chamber?

i own two ez120s and both came with an air pump. its used to aerate the water. seems funny that your local shop said they don't come with air pumps. my local shop's ezclone display model has an air pump constantly running.

That's just it, the shop had a clear display unit running and no air pump. Go figure...

I have another round of clones going in starting tonight I will let you guys know how it goes and will be using EWC tea again. It is really cold right now though so results may not be as quick we will just have to wait and see.

Evl - I have the 120 and it comes with an air pump, the thing ended up sucking water from the cloner cause it was leaking and killed it. I meant to put another one in their but forget ran a couple cycles with out the air pump and everything still rooted fine. I plan on getting my lazy ass to the shop to get one just thought i would throw my 2 pennies out there.

I would definitely run it with the air pump as the oxygen flow through the water is meant to keep the water clean of bad bacteria etc. & also to provide a constant fresh supply of oxygen inside the unit to the roots.

The pump seems to be a very cheap 5-10$ pump so shouldn't be too big of a deal.

Do I have to bubble the EWC/molasses tea for 24rs? I have clones I cannot lose and see some slime. I've moved half to another method for backup..... was wondering if 8 hrs was enough? I'm using rainwater not tap btw.

Also, what's the water volume you add a cup to? My water rez hold 6 qts and it's 2/3 full so I'm trying to figure out how much I should add to my small cloner

Take off what you can on the stems and add EWC tea every 4-5 days at a cup at a time to combat it.

That's what I would do and did last time anyways...Hope it works for you man!

I added 1 1/2 cups to 6 gallons of water this time.

Hey thanks a ton..... I have this huge influx of clones right now and thought I was going at a good pace but tried to switch it up. Thanks for all the work you've put in on this. Tomorrow evening I'll be able to use it.

Can I also put it in a spray bottle and foliar feed?

Okay, the tea has been brewing for 27 hours so I poured some through a stocking and filled a container. I cleaned the clones, put in a little over a cup and the rest bubbled, filtered rainwater.

I washed the ends of all the clones, sliced off the bottoms of 2 that were a little mushy, dipped them all in rooting sauce then back into the cloner.

We'll see how it goes. later I'm going to get my plants out, give them some water/tea and foliar feed them.

Can I foliar spray the clones? I've never even bothered to mist clones with water.....

2 days 3 water changes with the ewc slime still there after couple hours and is worse now than it was before ewc.

I've moved half the clones into another medium,

Thinking about cleaning everything again and start over with tap water and see if that helps
