On Main at second was the Windmill. Remember the extra tall doorman that looked like Lerch the butler on Adam's family?

I love hearing these old stories about the hometown. Some of these places I can remember my uncles talking about at the time. I was a wee lad then. We still having fun in the Derby City though.

Dew Drop Inn on what? What was the joint there at Mellwood and what Frankfort Ave or was it Brownsboro? Rush Inn, that's right my cousin got shot there. Some punk leaned in thru the mellwood door and emptied a 38 spec into the bar and hit her in the thigh. Heck that was back in the late 70's before the yuppies started taking over. Dew drop was on what story down around winkler? That area any who.

Yeah, the Dew Drop Inn was down close to Fishers I think.
Good place to get your eyes lost.

kaskar the stockyards are gone for 3 or 4 or longer years. I can't believe nobody has mentioned the Colonial Gardens. Or the Mad Hatter on Brdwy around Logan on the south side of the street. Some great bands there now. Didn't twin spires become caddy's? I didn't remember where till you said it. I been there a time or three. In the Olden Dazes.
