I didn't say they owned them, at least the ones in North Carolina, but they do exactly as RJR tells them, you can believe that.

The contract is you do this, this, and that or pay fines by the amount our bean counters say we would have lost. by the second.

Ever had a contract for Fortune Global 500 company?

I have...and it held the #1 spot.

If you think all the big guys don't have their eyes glued to cannabis, I'd venture that your dead wrong.

Its just simple math. Besides all the data that's already available saying they've been planning for a long time.

I have no doubt that cannabis will be adopted by big business if legalized. I dismiss the thought that they will 'be in control'. Christ, they can't even control us under threat of draconian prison sentences, and you think that's going to change with lesser or no penalties?

So you find it significant that someone that contracts to do a job for someone performs the job as contracted? Yes, as a matter of fact I have contracted with a Fortune 500 company. It paid very well, and I sure as hell did what I agreed to do, and was paid to do, as do most people who are paid to do a job. It didn't mean I was owned or controlled by who was paying me. I find it a very peculiar mindset that some people have that they're 'enslaved' or 'forced' to do something that they've voluntarily agreed to do.

Huh? your right they cant control a plant...never said they could..
I meant they will come in and control the market, by flooding it...
Just like Humboldt floods the West Coast market with outdoor at harvest time.

Do you go to 7-11 and see gourmet home grown cigarettes or tobacco there?

Even at the specialty tobacco store you wont see that...

Granted tobacco isnt marijuana but its the closest thing we have to compare.

Actually yes, there is that-- You have cheap ones for 2-3 dollars a pack, then you have the $5-6 packs...then you have Shermans for like $8....then you can move on into cigars, where you can get them for $1 each...or you can pay $100 or more for Cubans and such--
Peace--

Do you seriously think Humboldt floods the market with outdoor in order to gain a business advantage? These idiots are shooting themselves in their collective foot, and do it every year.

I think the wine business is a lot closer to a legalized cannabis market than tobacco. I'm not sure why you equate large market share with control of the market. If RJR and Altria are 'in control' they sure are doing a poor job of it. Tobacco is a dying business, just like newspapers.

Business advantage? huh? No they flood it because theres so much of it...everyone just trying to grow and sell, more or less..not any complex strategy...

tobacco is closer because it has a relatively close grow cycle in terms of time.

Tobacco is a dying business

Thats why they would love to move to cannabis.

why not use this site?

and anyways, you'd have pre-legalization experience, and be able to shit on all the new people: "those nouveau potheads. they don't even know what it was like..."

Smokin on that serious...
this place would be bigger and better than ever were it to be legalized, mind you, are we talking global legalization? dutch legalization? legal in the united kingdom? legal in the united states? legal in canada?

as tokers, and members of this global cannabis alliance, we can not be slowed down by legalization in country, its an inalienable(sp?) human right to blaze the fine plant, and we must continue the struggle till its possible to openly posses, sale, cultivate and smoke it in every country on every continent!
