I have not grown out chemdog, but rez gear is on my list of things to grow out. I think the reason you can't locate any chemdog beans is because they are out of stock. A buddy told me there is a big reservoir seeds release coming up early 2010. Not sure what strains are going to be released but my buddy told me it was quite a few varieties. Better get on the list because I have a feeling those beans are going to sell out fast.
I know there is a reservoir seeds forum on this site though I have yet to check it out... I am sure all your inquires can be answered in that forum.

ive smoked the chemdog at the greenhouse coffeeshop,,,,the top and bottom of it IS i loved that weed..!!!

Because its NOT The real thing. The ONLY Real thing is a cut. You're right, it MAY be better, but its NOT CHEMDAWG.
according to folk lore, there was 1/2 dozen (??) seeds found in a lb or kilo of pot, so the 'cut' came from a seed, not a mum, hence there is no 'real' chemdawg... only offsprings of chemdawg...
now does any of this matter ... nah....happy new year....

Hey man, I don't even hate on GHS... I'm growing their Trainwreck right now and I don't go around saying I've got the arcata trainwreck cut in my garden.
I've grown both good and bad plants from GHS gear, and I don't chalk up the whole company as being bad or shitty...
regardless, Chemdawg isn't OG Kush X Sour Diesel which it says on the GHS site is their version.

never have grown any gh seeds..at least not yet.. my only point is that if i grow a plant , and i take cuttings from it and the plant turns out to be the holy grail... i have clones of it...
but if i grow the same plant, it turns out tobe the grail, i did not take cuttings, but find a couple/few seeds, the off-springs from the seeds will not be the mum plant. the weed mite be better or worse...

The argument is that GHS would stick the Chemdog name on there strains when they dont have any original Chemdog in them. We get alittle pissy when people Try and cash in on a name instead of actually having the strain, like GHS saying there coming out with a chemdog strain when we all know they don't have any of the chemdog clones like D,4,sis,'91,2,3....It's false advertising, which is BS man.
Thats why we bash GHS. Thats how we now it's gonna suck.............IT'S NOT CHEMDOG. If it's good, yuppi, it's still not chemdog.
Chemdog is the name of the guy that found the seeds in the lb of weed.......Which is why it's named CHEMDOG.

yeah, it's cut only. Rez is releasing an IBL that's probably the closest you're gonna get.
