yikes! i have a friend who told me about his friend who has a plane and apparently thats what does too - scout out places to steal from... fuckin ridiculous! with a plane you could just fly to a super remote area and plant your own fuckin crop!

Im not the kind of person that would be able to shoot anyone but that wouldnt stop me from destroying ALL their equipment, vehicles etc and maybe breaking some fingers if I did catch anyone - although neither is very likely.. They couldnt go to anyone after and say that they were trespassing attempting to steal someones crops and got beat up or their tires slashed and windows kicked in.. although I can see how many "big time" OD growers (the type most targeted - a person with a dozen plants scatterd over a mile isnt a ripe target...) wouldnt want to let anyone "out" if such a thing happened, and if six-figures or more were involved Im sure some people would/could easily shoot a tresspassing thieving scumbag - in the states you can legally shoot a tresspasser on YOUR property... Its their choice I guess whether they report it or not..

Id think twice if I was a ripoff artist... that much energy/focus/intent can be used to make money other ways (therse people are obviously criminally prone - and not the same as a peaceful gardener who wouldnt dream of ripping someone elses patch even if they knew about it!).

Thieves beware cause you never know what kind of gun-freak is guarding a crop! Eventually the odds balance out..

edit: Thinking about it now, over the years I've heard several stories from pilots and friends thereof - involved in dope and not - on how they saw big-ass patches from the air. Not unusual in the big BC! I've never heard of anyone talking about how they went down and ripped anything off, though... most people wouldn't be that stupid. any gorilla grower should plan for losses to rippers or animals or cops what not.... my small outdoor patches are in my yard and well hidden so i don't worry about rippers, i do how ever plan for losses due to lots of dog's.... if you plan for it... your outdoor seasons not a waste if you lose a plot or 3....my 2 cents

Google Maps is by far the handiest of guerilla tools! Picking spots has never been so easy!

You just gotta plan to plant more secretively. the investment is worth it. Plant around near the outter base of non-needled trees, camo as best you can with natural vegitation/tactics.

Hate that asshole. But life is full of bad apples, that's why we're sitting here and talking about potential illegal things. It's because back in the day, ignorance was the main key to the legality of certain things.

They are why people put up electric fences and booby traps, those kinds of people deserve a knife in the eye. But we cant because of the leo's that are there, they're being told that 'we' (as society) want them to erradicate our plants. We must change this philosophy, and the sooner the better.

Id like to see this dick try to bust my spot..... the only way to the trail to it is on private land, and my 5 rotties roam around the entire area.... their electric shock collars allow them to go all the way to the grow area and back... nothing ever comes in the area because it is chased off/attack, this includes people, deer, rabbit, foxes, small animals, squirrels, and birds don't dare land on the ground.

You should tell us what state/city he lives in so we can be a watch for his plane....... people in that area should set up like an obvious field and wait there during the month he goes to search...provide him with a good ass kicking.

we have a scumbag where i work who is proud of being a patch pirate.i wanted to drop the mofo when he told us that,it wasnt 2 minutes after i was talking about the rippers that got me for 15 outdoor plants ,so a few pounds .i wanted to drop 1 of the crates full of furniture that i had up in the air on the forklift on him fucking piece of shit

I ran into the same thing this last year people bragging about taking shit pissed me off to all hell i know the time an money we put into this and to some of us it is our lives and futures if it was not for some of these crops some would loss all the depend on it for there family's. some of my friends got jacked this year and it was total BS this next year they will be armed and security has been field up to protect.

I am boiling just reading this thread.I have been ripped on more than a few occasions and it is absolutely devastating!!!!!After spending $ on genetics,soil,nutes and other supplies,plus the power it takes to grow your moms inside etc.Then walking up to your patch and immediatly knowing something is wrong,but it never registers until a few seconds,and your heart just drops to your stomach seeing the ripped up plants and broken stocks,but NO BUD.Thats what it feels like you ripper fucks!Its not just that either.I think most of us do not want to use violence when it comes to geurilla growing,but the rippers are a huge reason for violence!If you have money involved and it is your livlihood you are forced to protect it!Rippers promote violence in my opinion.If I caught a guy in my plot,i dont know what i would do,but im sure it would not be pretty!!

Oh man! you described that feeling perfectly....You already know in your head that they are gone, but it just doesnt register..you keep walking around for another minute or 2 trying to tell yourself that you are in the wrong place, fully knowing that they are not where you planted them....Such a horrible feeling...One thank God, i have not felt in about 12 years....I know where a few plots are every year, but i have never taken any plants from anyone....Just not cool..I know how it feels, and it really does make you sick, when it happens to you...BUUUUT some people are just fuck heads and they dont care...Pieces of shit! I've never had a plant ripped and I live along side 10 million crazy people. Something is up. I don't doubt the plants get ripped. I question whether or not you guys are growing in a safe area. It's obvious. The plant would still be there if it was.

I had to write an paper for school regarding a issue that affects recreation users...well i wrote about marijuana grows in the PNW and how these growers are armed to the teeth with automatic weapons and deadly booby traps. I've read so many disturbing accounts, one grow in Oregon in the 80's had a pack of dobermans, 2 tigers...yes tigers...and if you got past that...well you came to face with ex-green berets that were hired to protect the plot. That is some serious shit right there. I've read a article about a father and son kayaking and then taking a lunch break in the woods...father got shot, boy was left there...then police found a huge operation near by. If your cousin fucks with the wrong person, he will surely get shot at or killed somehow...

Only happened to me 1 time... It was my first time growing outdoors, and I was about 15 years old...i had a path going straight from the road to the plants..I live in the country, but shit that path looked like a well built road by harvest time..LOL...Live and learn....Atleast then it was just bagseed....now, it would hurt even more...cause i dont fuck with bag seed anymore...That was the only time, i got ripped...1 out of 300 plants.......Yeah..I can live with that.
