Caille, sounds like you're doing it right. Drying that last bit of moisture slowly in glass should make the smell come back in force.

I was thinking of getting a 150 watt to veg for my 600 watt. the space i have is 39"x23", but i was gonna have cloning going on on the side so i dont need to fully illuminate the entire cab... Do you guys think a 150 watt would be sufficient or would i need to step up to a 250 watt.. thanks

weezybleezy, it might not be the best color for close node spacing but I'm sure it'll work. Have you considered Metal Halide or Ceramic Metal Halide?

Guy's and gals keep it up, my project is still up and running. Everyone keeps me inspired! Keep the positive comments coming! The plant that showed Hermie on me is stinking well (as it always did!). I think it had a light leak, got a cut in flower as I write this! KILLED THE HERMIE! Still got a mom hangin' around, shows Herm again and it's gone.

The good news is another unknown cut has shown sex,(female) :tree:

Immediately took 3 clones from that mom and started them!

Will be getting a new camera for Xmas. High-Def! with lenses!DSLR!, look forward to updates from that girl soon. My largest lens currently is 300mm zoom, I should be getting a macro lens with image stabilization!

That 300 from across the room suddenly turns into a macro!

Much love from the North, The M3@n_0n3 :xmastree:

Merry Christmas fellers. Go with a 175w MH you won't disappoint. I had one and it vegged real nice. I'm about to get another one because I want one again! I'm starting to feel like the 150 doesn't cut it for plants. Clones is another thing, because flowering them after they root keeps the height down and penetration is an issue with the 150 so you really either need to LST, Scrog, or do a SOG which i'm converting to right now. Mothers just popped the soil this morning. Merry Christmas!

2nd run with HinduxGDP (5th wk of flowering)

2nd run with HinduxGDP (5th wk of flowering)

Here's a few pics of my ladies. I gotta use smaller pots next time. These two plants got way too tall. I had to tie them away from the bulb to prevent any burning.:smokeit:

Took me a while to notice but half of the people on the 150W HPS page have plants that stretch. >_> NOT fixing your lkight in one place, say putting chains on it to adjust eight will help cut down on stretching and also increase yeilds.

I agree with Frank

Also, if your light is fixed in one place like mine is in my minifrigde, it helps to have a shelf that raises up & down. If you cannot fix a shelf to raise up & down just put things under your plants to keep the canopy 4-5" from the light at all times. It will help tremendously!

Peace
