theres some contradiction

There are bunch of inputs on that NAD but connection labeld "Sub" i dont think that is a input - you dont see a "sub" button on the front, and like folkmaster said he checked NADs manual and it says theres a subwoofer output

Hell yeah, dude. You're right. Here's what the pdf says in case you haven't seen it.

8 SUB 1,SUB2:Unlike the full range channels, there is no power amplifier built-into the C326BEE for a subwoofer. Connect the SUB 1 or SUB 2 output or both to powered ("active") subwoofers or to power amplifier channels driving a passive system.

That's cool as hell. Even though it's on the input side of the chassis, it's an output. Who woulda thunk.

I am pretty sure the subs are still pumping out mono sound..it's the new thing(rolls eyes)...supposedly two subs even out the sound better in some rooms..some even swear two subs sound better in a car(over one)....I have two subs with my magnepans...sounds much better than one..but they are in a large room..Anyway so now they are putting two sub outs on a lot of the new high end receivers/amps..I have a small room with my computer, I just have one 12" 175 watt sub in this room, sounds good to me...In fact I love my sub, I think I'll go give it a kiss now...

If that's the wire you're hookin up you speeks with, you NEED to upgrade that! You want the fattest wire you can afford going to your speeks.. Monster cable's entry level stuff will be a huge improvement over that thin stuff. Back in the early days of hifi, we used to use 00 gauge welding cable for speaker cables. I'll cost you a few bucks, but the improvement in definition and bass response will be very noticeable. Same thing with the wire connecting your components.. the better the wire, the better the sound. Again, Monster would be good entry level stuff.
