Great idea.

But, the styro insulation sheets might cover more area cheaper, easier, & better.

It'll get all dented up & disentigrate real quick tho.
Unless you put sheets of luann (or similar) over the sheets of styro...
Now, it's getting less cheap...

I'm too clutzy to put plants on top of milk crates.

hey peat, well the 6 gallon pots takeup much of the diameter of teh crates. so they fit like they are supposed to be there

Insulation is one of those things imho you get out what you put in.. Insulation helps year round. In the summer it will help keep your gr cool so for the three months that you use ac you will use less saving money.... short term solution space heaters spread out...talk about cost.. i thought i'd visit my Main man Dog here...i have some spare time ,now i don't need to tend the C-spot anymore...although i have alot fnishing up.....i just need a break from posting me thinks
....i wish i could start over and learn to grow AGAIN.....that was more fun then now to be honest....don't get me wrong i'm happy i have the XP to get problemless rounds...
but it just gets so boring sometimes.
Maybe i need a change of scene....or growstyle.....pitty i don't have room to go hydro...that would get the adrenaline runing again

Right now with being so many of them, they are getting food everytime. Those 5 ftrs are hungry. Normally I do a two feed one water system

ive just been having some troubles with promix latley

im not sure if its just my strain but i can feed my chem4 perfect but it seems my others dont like it

i have been useing flora nova recentlly and am going to go back to pbp

your grow looks great!

and other then useing flora nova i dont think im doing anything different and 3 of my strains keep yellowing really bad

guess im just going to run a room full of chem4 from now on i cant have half my room get a low yeild everytime 7800w is alot to half a bogus yeild on


also how do you water do you have some sort of watering system set up?

and ya know while im thining about it maybe i have too much light and not enough co2? i have 3k over a 4x8 next to 2600w over 4x8 next to 2k over a 4x6 (since the door swings in) and other then one fan blowing in an old duct i dont have much air flowing through i deff have alot oin the room blowing around but ive always used co2 and latley i havent been

the co2 meter says 600-800ppms usually tho so i dunnno

either way thanks for letting me bounce ideas off ya been trying to find someone who has a perfect or almost perfect promix grow to copy off of been 3 years now that ive been fiddling my thumbs trying to get shit perfect and im almost there just stumped again

I would not be concerned with C02. I never even let it enter my head, I do not use C02, do not plan on it.
I run about 22000 watts in my room. and yes all promix

The thing that is probably getting you, is a lock out due to either your ph being off, causing lock out, or you have neglected to add any cal mag products. Pro mix is fairly inert, meaning there are no additives, and will not change much. Pro mix is also buffered to 6.5 on the ph scale, take this into account when phing your water. personally I like my nute mixture to be at about 6.0 to 6.1.
