High Post! I meant to add that your ECSD looks amazing bro! Simply a beautiful job! And thanks for having me along as well. Its been way more fun than my lonely thread ..with the limited updates that i do...lol. Great to see same plants in differnt garden, fo sho!
Im trying somthin new with the coco. since i upped the nutes like you said, i sorta killed em, there was a good bit of salt build up on the top of the coco. So ididnt keep up w/ the flushes..lol. So now im hand feeding 1tsp / gal and auto flushing(plain tap) just before i feed. hows that sound to ya both?

Hey bro, the pics look just fine.. They show the trichs density beautifully.. I know your limitted as far as what you can do with pic resizing, and altering.. For shooting the pic and uploading straight to pc that's about the best I could get as well. I get better through the photoshop program... I shoot the pic on a much larger setting then usual using the cameras macro mode, and then just crop a small part of the large pic to show the trichs better... I'm not sure what your working with pc wise, but there are a lot of shareware software online that would allow for the same type of resizing, and cropping..

That's how I got these in the my chemdogd bx1 grow.. These pics were prolly the size of 2 pc screens before I cropped them down LOL.. Not the best but with a 5mp point n shoot it's pretty good IMO

You actually had plants come close to burning to death using my 5ml fnb dosage tbug? were you feeding with runoff? I had problems mid flower, but I was slamming them with pk very early in flower in an attempt to slow down the stretch... Like 5-7ml of koolbloom ontop of the 5ml fnb and 2.5ml cal/mag... I ended up cutting off the cal/mag when I noticed them to green, and the tips burning a bit at around ay 30flower... I wasn't running off nearly enough feed with each watering as it got to be a bitch pulling them out the tent to accomidate the heavier run-off feedings.... Really this was my first time with these nutes, so following me would be like following a blind man LMAO. I really just winged it this first time. That and the many possible differences between our garden enviroments can factor into nute assimilation as well... Flushing with a bit of ph'd water before the feeding would certainly wash away some of the buildup salts.. Sounds like a good enough plan to me.. Cheaper then running off a lot of nutes with the salts thats for sure... You can either do what you suggested, or even feed them with a diluted 1/4-1/2 strength solution every third feeding or so, and allow the plants to eat up some of those salts...

Thanks for the compliments on the ecsd... Under the circumstances it wasn't to bad... Certainly not as nice as I woulda wanted.. I feel I failed this with this grow in many respects. I know I took a hit in the yield department with the overgrown garden, mostly sideways lighting, and salt buildup... Next run will be better, I assure you... At Least I'm getting to try the ecsd, which I have wanted to try for years now..

Hey MeltingPOT I saw your chemd pics in your other thread.. What do you think... Think this plant looked kinda similar? This was from Rez's BX1 seeds... I'd love to hear your take on the smell/flavor of the chem d cut?

Yeah that particular plant was real nice and kushy... I personally liked my Diesel varieties better, and with not a lot of room for mommas I gotta be real selective on what stays long term. I made lots of seeds with those bx1's, and then moved on knowing that a bx2-3 and ibl were eventually coming. Which is why I asked MP his take on the D cut scent/aroma.. Trying to get an idea how close some of those bx1 phenos were to the actual cut as those bx1's weren't exactly my cup of tea.. I like sweeter-fruitier stuff mostly, and those bx1's had a much more musty-spicy-dank flavor.. These plants were actually from a bx1 line rez never released to the masses... He used differnt males on the bx1 he eventually released...

Yeah bro, when I'm on, I'm on.. Wish I woulda nailed the ecsd this first time around as I did that grow, but there is always next time It wasn't done with just 400watts.. Looking back at the pics I realized now I had used 42watters on the sides of the 2 cfl racks and not 26ers, so there was exactly 288watts of additional cfl.. Either way it was one of my better runs... The more chemdog d looking bx1 pheno I found yielded 2-2.75 oz per plant EASILY in 2gal of coco.. If I was to monocrop it I would certainly hit, if not beat the 1lb mark..

I remember those Kush phenos MPost...I used to (and still am) droooooooling over those pics...she looks dangerous bro and I WISH you hit me up with those beans! As far as that ChemdogBx1 that was done with PBP I presume? or Organic Soil...if so then yaH! she looks like mine, little more of a crown to her, with the tip finishing just like yours in the pic, that's my colas at least...my lowers are nicer, rounder nugs more standard Chem looking...As far as her smell, she is a tough cookie to describe. Ya know when you smell horrible perfume and it just won't get outta yer nose? that is how she makes you react...it's skunk from afar, stink out a house with a gram of her, unburned. Rubbing her results in a mixture of chemical(paint maybe??) Sweet like Sour not Blueberry, tart maybe? Pretty much a SuperDiesel...Sour without the twang.

I'm almost positive you got a few off her in the chemd bx1 ix seeds bro. If none of the chemdogd bx1 ix seeds were labeled by phenotype then I more then likely put a few of each to make up the pack.. Now that I'm thinking back I'm almost positive that's in fact what I did for yours. The other lucky guy got them separated by pheno as he was real bummed out when I toldem I culled the cut after the seed making was done... We will clear it up either way. There is always next time

I know what ya mean about the aroma.. If there is no real life aromas you can pick out it's almost impossible to describe it... Like with spicy, and chemical hehe... There has to be at least 2000+ different spices/chemicals.. Though skunky fits well... I would smoke half a j, and the whole room would reek of skunks ass.. I found the flavor of the bx1 more towards the darker side of the aroma spectrum.. Very dank-musty-pungent similar to a good kush or Afghani..

The first run I did from seed, I mixed a homemade organic coco medium with perlite, dry ferts, worm casting, and composts added.. all I did was give a few teas here and there as it was needed.. The last run I did as pictured in the recent post was my first using GH Flora M/P using Rez's regimen in coco.. It by far was my best IMHO.. Highest yielding (though I did run more plants) and they flushed out perfectly..

Sorry I haven't been putting up pics recently. What was a lil sinus infection on the weekend turned into full blown Pnuemonia, and Pleurisy by Monday night.. Pleurisy is THE WORST PAIN i've felt in my LIFE!! I can barely breath, cough, burp, lay down, or lean over without feeling like I'm getting stabbed in the chest/back. Even the vibration of my footsteps hurts.. My fever has been hitting 103 daily since Tuesday.. I'm just barely finding the strength to keep up the daily waterings. The trainwreck has just begun it's flush, though the ecsd still looks like it has a week or so before I'll start the flushing.. I have cut the N though by switching over to GH flora bloom, and feeding them Rez's late flower dosages..

MP that tech. you use looks to flush them perfectly.. Much nicer looking then a gradual flushing with the plants become defficiant in nutes 1 by 1 over a longer period..

MeltingPOT She looks fuckin PERFECT bro. You did an A+ job growing my WDix cut. For a first run through you couldn't have nailed it down betta..

I checked my calender today, and 'm 54 days in with the ECSD today, so not to much longer on my end either.. Not the best yield this run for obvious reasons, but she has fattened up nicely over the last two weeks none the less. The trichome density is looking great right now. Not so much on the leaves, but those fat calyx's she stacks are absolutely covered. The aroma she's kicking out now is REAL nice, and strong. Really hard to pin down, as it seems to all mix and create scent all it's own. Everyday It seems I can pick out something a lil different then I did before, but there is certainly a diesel fuel lemon edge to it... Not as lemon as the WD's imo, but that's not such a bad thing at all.. I honestly woulda bummed if I found it to be exactly like what I already had. I can't wait to smoke it


I'll go ahead and see what I can do about snapping a few pics of the buds tomorrow. I wish I could say I'm feeling better bro.. My fever fluctuates throughout the day, but it is still hitting 103 at it's worse, and I'm still dealing with some pain, but not as bad as it was a few days ago... If I'm not feeling better by tomorrow I gotta go back to the Doctors, and possibly to the hospital for some xrays/tests. I'm hanging in though.. I'll tell ya my tolerance is going to be damn near virgin when I finally get over this shit.

Thanks again MPost... FEEL BETTER!!! thats a direct order! I am pretty confident running Diesel hybrids at this point lol...she was a real easy gal to work with from clone to flush she stayed pretty, never begged for transplants...now all she has to do is blow me away in a pipe! By the way she looks and smells, it should be a non-issue~! I don't think that you'll get any pine outta the ECSD, more lemon/earth. I can only assume that this WD has some pine to her lemon...Can't wait to find out...

Really glad you enjoyed the joint grow show Unclefishstick... Worked out real nicely so far I must say.. Hard to be bored when ya got some friends willing to share some pics to drool over during the slow times.

It would be real cool getting 30 seeds together of the same variety, and getting our timing right to run them at the same time.. The last part of course would be the hardest part as none of us likes down time hehe. I have a good amount of Rezdogs seeds, though not enough for us to run 1 variety. 3 different varieties would be doable, which may be kinda sweet in it's own right. It Just would not be as telling as doing 1, and getting to compare/bullshit bout them..
