IDO...I prefer 1 plant per tub and I love the screen idea....ECSD needs topping/training like crazy...Mr.Postman had good luck topping at the 4th node and fimming all the lowers at the same time, he got her bushy as hell...but still a "tall" look overall...The Sour needs extended Nitrogen till about 30 days into flower...she really fades fast...She can take a good wallop of nutes, but I wouldn't pound her too hard too early with PK during flower as she won't use it all...Later on, when the N begins to fade let her have it with PK prior to the flush.
The 4 takes care of herself in all aspects, seriously.

i plan on a short veg,, so thats why i thought about 2-4 plants per tub 4 originally,,,thats goo to know bout the nutes brother,,,,peace

IDO...I have had better luck with yeild with a long vegged single plant in a DWC tub as apposed to 2-3 smaller cuts...I think with 2-3 cuts, one seems to take over and by the time yer done, most of yer yeild comes from one plant anyways...just an observation....

Sorry to hear your first run of the DJ's BB didn't turn out as expected MP. Your not giving up on it just yet are you? I hope not, since I'm sure you'll be able to do better next time. I've never grown BB myself, just crosses, but I've heard many times before that they do best in ammended organic mixes where nutrient uptake is a lot more gradual..

Everything you pictured recnetly looks great.. I'm really looking foward to seeing that coastal collision later on in flower. With parents like those it's hard to imagine you wont be able to find a solid pheno in the mix. I'd love to search through the f2/ix of those myself....

You guys arent the fiirst to see the BB herm.
Sure maybe it wasnt done right, bb is sensitive they say.
then again I watched a friend grow her, she loooked fantastic all the way through. visited at 9 1/2 weeks and said wow! Went in close and went waaaah"? then it turned to omgwtf!?!
I went home and ripped mine outta the pot into the compost bin.
With three males bieng worked onto a dozen ladies herms are removed without a 2nd thought.
I wanted a bblicious blueberry for so many years I ended up taking a cut off the top of the pulled one. She got flowered at 8" and hit with F13 pollen to at least do something with her.
I know of several others who all had nanners at least once. i have talked with friends who ran her to 70 without a nanner but that is 1/5 i've talked to without any.
I found her slight berry note in flower to disappear after curing.
SHe's mild scented with notes of hash and chocolate with a hint of berry sweetness. High is nice but not unique or spectacular.
I rate Dj's gear on mental and emotional effect, then flavor, then yield. I didnt find her to be a keeper.
Take this with a grain of salt. i havent had a chance to try and dial her in better. She has been sweeter and more berryish on my seeded cut and also on my friends current plant of her.
She is still less sweet and berrylike then 4 of my F13's in flower so c'est la vie! If you want her for BB syrupy goodness, I'd kkep looking.
I will readily admit my experience with BB is very limited so I am not an authority on BB but I have no trouble with related strains from DJ i have worked with or am working with so its but an slightly educated opinion.
generally, if a plants herbs arent dank by the time they are dry, I find they arent keepers anyway(with a couple exceptions.)
THere are plenty of girls out there that are top notch that arent needy out there to find, why struggle unless it has a quality that is amazing allowing other factors to be overlooked.
For example Chem#4 and Bubba. I swear anyone could grow these plants with success. Its like growing on autopilot!

I would love to see the other (F13xWillieW)x GK girls mP!
No matter if they are inferior, it would tell me a bit more about what may pop out from these seeds.

Glad I'm getting this info on the BB before I went ahead and popped the few BB/chem Rez gifted me from his first trial run. Thanks for passing on your experiences fellas.

Rez mentioned in a post his BB didn't finish up as well as he woulda liked, and that he couldn't guarantee them to be perfection (I chose to give them a shot anyway). I just didnt know she was a hermin monster LOL.. It was clear in the few pics he shared, that she was in fact throwing some nanners too, though some of these cuts we seek, and come to love do the same towards the end of their cycles, or when not dialed in. Speaks volumes of him imho.. He certainly coulda made the seeds, and rolled bank on the bb/sd he was originally planning to do.

No great shakes, I got many more seeds to choose from. I'll run something different, and give a couple of these a shot in the future when I'm not in dire need of solid harvests.

Along the page of BB, I had a lifesaver that looked and smelled BB dom. It grew out great until the 4th week, then it would nanner out. I was curious if this was because of the BB used, I believe it was JCB from Dj Short.

lookin great MP....I'd watch for nanners on the Coastal Collision....one of mine threw a couple during the 4-5 weeks flower....not full blow hermie(more like 2 or 3 nanners)hopefully yours dont do the same....just though i'd let you know...keep up the greeat work bro...Peace

Thanks for posting that story RM...so I didn't have to! I have a little secret...I don't have the BB anymore either! Moreso than the nanner issue (which I'm sure I could conquer, cuz I'm stubborn), but the fact that 3 WELL RESPECTED growers/smokers (RM, SwampD, Rez) have all said that she doesn't carry any berry flavor with her...I only grabbed her because I was looking for some goooey Blue flavored herb...I'm back on the hunt! Thanks again RM...

Yeah, MPost...I'd DEFINATELY get rid of those beans, and FAST!!! If you send em to me, I'll make sure they get disposed of properly LMAO...crack em just in case you find a Purple Chemdog pheno that doesn't nanner and finishes in 65 days....I think that Rez was onto something when he said that she's worth keeping around to breed some "Purple Sour Diesel". Her coloring is stunning...

Having ECSD as the mother of the CC, it is always possible to find some nanners...Having them dialed will obviously decrease these chances...I'd love to see shots of them if you don't mind!!!!
