Hey Giant, how old are the plants? 'Cause you may need to weaken a little bit until they get a little more established. Sorry if I missed it earlier in the thread.
Yeah dude, they are pretty young. Just planted them about 5 days ago. They had some pretty decent roots sticking out of the rockwool though. Like I said before, they are about 5-6" tall.

Yea if you are doing clones you should be good, you could bump it up i would think. i do the 3/6 as soon as i xplant a clone into its first home. no burn all good.

While I am not certain what is going on with your plants, I do know that the large chunky perlite you are using does not wick very effectively for hydro techniques. The standard small size of perlite would hook you up better in my opinion.

You put the plant into shock. I would pick off the few large fans you see and feed only a little liquid bat guano at 350ppm & 6.1ph for a week or so until she perks up a little.
JMO hope that helps.

i agree, they are in shock at this point ... feed 'em light and let 'em tell you when they are ready.

Yes they do look like there suffering from transplant shok but also looking at the coco starter it also looks very dry.

I have a bunch of clones in soil.If I wanted to create a hempy bucket with these clones,do I need to expose the roots or can I just plop my soil clod into my new hempy bucket and fill with perlite?

Rinse 'em off gently in ph6.1 balanced water first. Feed w/light bat mix or nitrozyme after transplanting. Give her a little shade for a day while she gets readjusted. Superthrive is recommended at a teaspoon per gallon. Thats how i do it anyway. Happy planting. HD.

what's the point in rinsing off the root ball with ph balanced water? I thought that the ph balance was only necessary for nutrient uptake. Help a brother out.

Using balanced water keeps the plant from going into further shock. If your ph is constantly moving the plant is constantly readjusting. This can cause a nutrient lock-out. Even if you're only rinsing the plant will still absorb whatever you're putting on it. Constant ph is key to getting a good crop dialed in.
Always happy to help a brotha out!
