Micro CMH Users

I am not sure. The place I bought my bulb from had the above chart and I have not seen any others floating around.

The thing that I find the most interesting is that you can use the same bulb for vegging and flowering. No need to switch out ballasts and bulbs halfway through the grow. This could be of benefit to someone who is planning something micro like a pc.

I would love to see someone try a 70w CMH in a pc tower.

It has been said in the other thread that plants under a CMH will veg faster than under a Metal Halide. This could benefit growers using the same place to veg and flower by speeding up the entire cycle. This could also help autoflower growers who have a short veg time (3 weeks) to work with.
my original idea as to put my 100CMH in a tower much like Aeros but I came across my fridge and went that way.
A 70watt CMH in a server tower would be a peice of cake.
I figured out that my buds only fry when with in 2.5 inches from the bulb.

Nice thread grouchy.

CMH looks very promising, but my question is, would you still benefit from supplemental HPS lighting during flower?

You would always benefit from adding more light. It would depend on the setup if it is beneficial or overkill.

I don't think it is needed during flowering but adding more power during flower is a helpful technique. I would try it without the hps and add if needed unless it is on hand and paid for. Maybe you could run some trials for us.

I have a pc fan powered cool tube for my 100w CMH and can let the plants touch it all they want. I like to get it in close since I have a limited floor space to cover. More info in the link in my sig.

oh yea remote ballast are a must, same as with all the HID set ups they either are put together remote or are sold remote so its ok.
My ballast keeps the outter cab area upwards of 100 degrees and has hit 110 in August.
