iso must be stored in the frozen state or yes, it will be an utouchable tar...it sticks to everything...even the gold flakes turn to tar when defrosted...that's why I like the slow method...you can work with it and handle it without turning into a tarbaby...

good drown

get some bags like blaner said, sprungbags dot com. i used mine 3 times, they are very durable, i even used stems. just don't mix in the 220 bag, mix in a bucket, then pour the contents into the 5 bags. its pretty fun and safe. last thing you want is a fire at your grow house.

Thanks for the link GD those were the ones I was talking about, nice price.

I hadn't gotten any bubble bags because I hadn't been harvesting to much but now I moved to a new locale and now have my new tents:tree: so sprungbags will be in my future.

2 months until harvest though a nice pheno of alaskan ice and my PW. were lookin at a presidents day harvest:smokeit:

My iso dried pretty quick.

had it on a plate on the stove with a fan on it. the stove was real real low, might have evaporated without the heat too. the plate was warm to the touch but that was it

tommorrow I will do the majority of my trim boo's style and let it dry slowly.

NOW to try that iso:xmasnut: I'll be back with a smoke report lol

with this weather its a perfect night to stay in smoke some hash

oh hell yeah, never use heat... let it dry slowly...I did a tutorial on this thread a few months ago...go back and find it...heat kills the iso...trust me on this one nat...

I think we both posted methods around the same time boo....and i use a stove and my iso comes out so amber it looks gold in the light....i think i all depends on the trim...short washes...10-15 sec and a good screen....i now use a small 120x120 lines per inch (close to 100 microns) and ive never made better iso...this stuff is almost as good as my FMCD bubble hash!

boo

whatever floats the proverbial boat...we all have preferences...I've been dry sifting and using the bubble bags for years...I have tweaked the iso method and prefer it to dry sift and bubble...it rocks my old man world...

I would think if you had the time letting evaporate without heat is the best way.

The heating method is a quicker job, but if you have the time I figure you might as well do it slower.

maybe do a comparison with the same trim ect. and see if the heat is detrimental?

it does make the place reek like ISO.

Buy a mini stove top from walmart for $12 in the camping section! I cant believe you did that in the house.....lol.....that would stink!
