They are looking nice and healthy Hap. I am surious to see how that "strange" one does in flower. It looks a little like my Mr. M's cross, she only stretched to 2 1/2 ft and remained very short.

hey OG..yea the strange one looks like a DJ shorts mutant...will be interesting?....how big where yours before 12/12....cause thats my biggest issue...not knowing when to flower...im thinking of topping and training a bit to get a decent amount of branching?....i hope before next potting up they show sex cause then i will put them into hydro rather than wasting the time and cash putting them into 30 ltr pots if i have a heap of males(which i'll try to flower anyway)

KM...thanks for dropping by...what did you get... OJD's SSSDH? they should do real well...looks like this strain looks pretty similar in F2's so far...

Hey Hap,
I flipped to 12/12 at about a month when they were a little under 12". The one pheno stretched normally to about 4 ft or so but the other mutant stretched very little to around 2 1/2 ft. They were not showing any sex at time of flower if I remember right. Probably be interesting if you topped them before though. I am looking forward to seeing how yours turn out.

thanks for the info man...just going to read them a bit...a couple more nodes and i'll top them...and may even tip each side branch at the 1st or second node?...should really set up some sort of scrog set up...but i wont... too lazy ...bamboo will do...can see them now in my mind sprawling everywhere lol....had some sativa dom strains in the past just growing everywhere when i vegged them in hydro the same as indica dom strains....bit hard when you dont have more rooms to veg in...dont mind the extra yield but the space it will take is the problem...ive got a big room but not the light to fill it i feel...will ponder and work on it..

i usually veg strains to a 18" WxH bush...so around 12" inch may do the trick with these...

only one stands out now as a possible male....wouldnt that be nice 9 fems ..HH. =]-~

i got my 1000 MH today and hung it in the tent open bulb(dont trust a heavy shade with this tent) works really well...BRIGHT !!! ...hope tomorrow too get a small table in there tomorrow to raise them up a couple of feet to catch some more light cause ATM they are on the floor next to a hydro set up 4 1/2 feet away from the light...also gave them another feed today...will get some more pics in a few days for im sure things will change a bit.H. =]-~

took some pics today cause i think they are look'n good ...
will try and get a tiny tri pod in the next few days and can then start to take some better closer pics..

some are starting to show sex and start alternating nodes which is good cause im starting to see roots coming out of the drainage holes...so i can pot up again soon and not waste supplies and space potting up the males ... they will preform fine in those pots to get some pollen...but will see.... i do have some a touch bigger if i feel the need..

i'll also think about topping them soon..what a wast of little cuttings ...
and start to train them a bit later..HH. =]-~

looking good happy looks like the same medium mix i use 70% coco 30% perlite what nutes do you use if you dont mind me asking...?

hey mate...when i make the mix i put a pot of each together in a tub until i have enough to re pot...well ....have this time anyway..and looks to be workn well..much better than straight coco for me...think that brick coco is a smaller grade than the bag stuff so compacts more ...so there loving the perlite..

im alternating GH maxi grow (powder) and 2 part cana vega ...had it left over and want to try and use it up...not sure what i'll use for flower...will see how the cash goes and will order a few GH products now i have found where to buy them from too give them a go.HH. =]-~

Herby, lookin good! You are going to be super happy with Mr.M's gear. I grew out some of his sssdh and it's a keeper to this day Best bud I have, period. There are pics in my gallery if ya want to see um. Good luck and keep up the good work.

PS. when I bought my Mr M gear, they were in 5 seperate packs for the 5 moms he used. Mom #1 was my fav, super frosty! I got one pheno that finishes in 8 weeks. If ya like haze, the #2 batch leaned toward the mom almost everytime. Pure haze smell and taste.
They were all great!

Cheers m8 yeah that brick coco is finer ive just started using it in my organic soil mix good stuff just needs to be flushed realy good...

Ive got a heap of SSSDH f2's from Mr.m so im keeping a close eye on this grow m8 keen to see how they turn out in flower...

If there is a thread with the info, I do not know of it. M said he was going to post up months ago when I first started my sssdh but as far as I know, he never did. Shame ya mixed them up, the number one mom was real special. I still have the clones going so if ya need a hand, let me know. I'm no expert but I have a lot of time with sssdh. Compared some notes with ojd so I just about got her dialed in. Here's some more pics including ojd's prize winning cut.

The stretch depends on the pheno. The diesel pheno was great, very little stretch. Less than double size during flowering. The number one mom again And she finishes in 8 weeks. The ssh phenos stretched much more, well over double size during flower.

benji-the block coco aint bad...i chuck it in one of those hydro pot socks and then in a hydro drainage pot and run the hose on it to flush well...and with me anyway the perlite makes a huge difference with aerating it...and i see the growth take off

wspman- good to have your eyes here to watch over the grow...you may be able to tell me what i have growing here down the track...thanks for the link...ive seen it before..and will look at again when my pc isnt so slow.

i have given them a spray of pyrethium today for the mites ..20mls per liter as directed the the bottle of yates pyrethium ...did a test spray the night before with another plant and all seemed ok... so hope they are fine too....also was sent a PEST STRIP too for cleaning up the badly affected room thats the flower room so with a few other things they should be finished..

looks like i may have a lot of boys here...will wait a bit and see if there bits get bigger so i can see better...was going to put all the girls into hydro yesterday but will wait a bit now...i recon i can only see 2 girls ATM...dont think there will be too many more?..but we'll see.

ive also upped the ferts a bit...they are already growing well and green but was still only using about 1/2 strength now about 3/4...

i'll update again when i pot them up or in a week ...what ever comes 1st....HH. =]-~

That one looks exactly like one of of my Super Lemon Haze phenos!
It always looks like that in veg and at first I had thought about tossing it, but it turned out to be the best of all my SLH´s! It yielded 90 grams and smells very very nice! It´s all gone already, but there will be a lot more in 6 weeks

By the way... my sssdh seeds just arrived today
