ok so this is the 1st time for me using the FFOF soil.i need a lil info from you guys that use it.
do you start giving it the big bloom and open sesame and growbig right off or do you wait?i know the ffof has things in it but not sure what exactly to add ,and when.with my mix i usualy use i can add it right off.but i dont wanna burn them or nothin ya know.i watered with liquid karma, mollases,(they just got some grow big last watering in veg.) i used less then usual but thought a lil somethin wouldnt hurt.didnt wanna add the open sesame and big bloom till i got some feedback from you guys.i hope i get some fast feedback.please just real from the heart advice.thanks in advance.

are you using FFOF straight up? I hopes not.....you should be cutting that with pro mix. im not sure of the ratios, but I have used FFOF in the past, straight and I did not like the results.


if you are using it straight, i would only use water no nutes for a little while that stuff is pretty hot.

i just got a big shipment of grow bags in. i have not used them for many years, but they will allow me to pack plants very neatly in my space. 3 gallon in the past I have used the five gallons

hey man what do you do with your soil? are you recycling or just dumping it? i know that takes up a buttload of space

I use my used medium as fill, my gf has a habit of digging holes in the back yard for various reasons and never fills them in. When I got this house there used to be an old above ground pool, that left a huge depression in the yard, I had frogs living in there one summer, it stayed full of water. In the spring it would fill up and ducks would land in the yard. I have that filled in already with my used promix. I gotta tell ya, the grass grows amazing there.



Sorry T bro, can help you on this one, I have never used it before, I would at least cut it with perlite, cant really ever have too much drainage

I too learned the hard way about seedlings in FFoF...shit is WAAAAY to hot. I use MG seed starting mix, and just add water till they get into the FFoF and 3 gal grow bags.

yup bro the growbags are fitting real nice in there,i have 22,3 gallon bags in a 5x5 space and they aint crowded.
i build flower beds and garden beds in my yard and put the soil in there bro.when one gets full i build another one.sometimes i have a homie that has land pick it up and he takes it out there and uses it.

ok,so let me ask everyone this one more time and explain better...
the FFOF wasnt for my seedlings,i put some clones in there that was like 30-45 days veggin,gettin topped and supercropped all that...i put them from 1 gallon pots, to 3 gallon growbags and flipped them into the tent. the ffof is mixed with perlite,also theres a layer of perlite in the bottom of the growbags for even better drainage..do you think the ffof will still be too hot for them?theyve been gettin growbig for the whole veg period,so they aint new to nutes.usualy at this stage if they was goin in the room in my regular soil id add earth worm castings,guanos,lime,perlite,rootone...i feel like im forgetting somethin but i think thats it....i never add promix to my mix.....what do ya think?they should be coolthanks in advance fam.peace -T-

i did not realize the age. my only suggestion is to still give straight water, no nutes for the first 30 days----maybe hit them with a bloom boost a couple times in the middle there

you will be fine don't worry about re-potting them who knows they may take off like crazy

Whasssssssssup T? I never had a problem using fresh FFOF for my seedlings and new clones. Some people may have. The dolomite buffers your PH, so it's kinda neccasary (sp?)..FFOF already has EWC, but it won't hurt to add more as the EWC won't burn em..but, like you said, ride it out as is. And if you find you are having a PH problem, you can add a lil dolomite later..

Your fine homie. At that age they can handle it. Im sure everyone else told ya the same thing.But after my lings get a lil bigger(into the grow bags), my FFoF mix is only mixed with about 30% perlite. Thats it...
And make sure you use the FF nutes every OTHER feeding. They are hot homie... Learned the hard way with that too.....lol

C-dubb-wattup holmz,yea bro im hip to the lime i use it in my regular soil mix(as well as the ewc) homie.but the ffof says it includes some oyster shells or some shit hat buffers ph,so i didnt add any lime,and it has ewc in it too...maybe i will add them at like week 3 or 4 if i need to.
i hope noone thinks i veg in my tent,i only flower in there.i veg them in my veg room then flip to the tent...

i usualy feed every other other watering water,water,feed.so i should be ok as far as that goes.i been usin the ff nutes for ever just not there soil.i use all the nutes the trifecta of both the liquid(grow big etc...) and powdered stuff (open sesame etc...).

Well my family I have some plans in mind...One thing I planned on doing was having two different plots, one just for breeding, just to spread the seed like Cdubb inspires me to do, and one just for females to get big n yeild alot. Im not sure what Im gonna breed yet either.. Probly a few girls to one male. Itll be a surprise. If I start earlier enough in the season I should be able to get some plants going, get some of the supreme females and clone them and still have the clones make it before the 1st frost, I just dont know much about cloning outside..hehhehe. As for drying I plan on cuttin the nicest buds fresh off the plant n transporting them inside to hang to try and the rest of the plant like the small popcorn n the leafs will just be thrown in a garbage bag and and do a gumbo hash wash... They are some plans Ive got so far, I know where my one plot is gonna be, just waiting for the ice to break to go out and find actually places for the plants and dig holes, setup coverage for them, put deer and insect repplents out. I plan on going to the plots once a week tops hopefully once things get in gear maybe 1-2 a month. Im not to worried about it since the places Im growing are sooo remote but I can get there just from walking out my friends backdoor. I plan on having some monsters soo remember for size refrence that with my shoes on I stand 6 foot tall. hahah.. I do plan on buying bunch of feminized seeds from Nirvana,and cracking some of the seeds I got for xmas from a friend off the boards, hehehe you kno who you are, and probly some of the bagseeds Ive got from good weed over the years. Ive also have some seeds from 2 local growers I know. One is a friend mom that grows behind her garage I got some seeds from her shit.. and my boy grew a funky ass plant and I got some seeds from them that plant too. soo ive got some shit poppin this summer... Im baked I hope I didnt ramble too much now Imma unpause band of brothers and pick my bong up. talk to u later homie
