Thanks everyone for the awesome compliments!

The ones that I thought looked finished, are spitting out white hairs and look like they're going to grow even more over the next couple of days.

I still have some that arent even closed to finished, super long thick white hairs...

I'm wondering if these bad girls are gonna finish over night or what? Today is Day 60 and they look like theyre going to go atleast 10 more..??

I'll go snap some pics, since its 4am and I aint doin shit.

Yo any reasons why you think its going on longer than expected? when did you start counting days? when you flipped to 12/12 or when you saw bud formation beginning?

Ok here are the pictures..can anyone explain this lol?

EDIT: I started counting the day I flipped to 12/12.

The person I got them from says they'll go 70 days, easily, says he lets them go sometime 3 more weeks then his LA Confidential, but the website says 56-63 days.

I can understand them going longer then expected, I just dont understand why they are at such different stages.

How are your trichs? I'd give them longer personally, a couple weeks makes a huge difference!

Hey Che. Thanks for stoppin by.

The trichs are clear on the plant that looks most finished, starting to get milky, I'm gonna let her go the distance but why is the one on the left so much more underdeveloped? Same strain, same mother...or so I think.

I'm not sure man, could be a stress factor, or who knows? What are your soil temps like?
Does the less mature plant have lower light levels? Maybe a little transplant shock early when you prepped them for flowering? The phase of the moon?

I'm just throwing a few guesses out there.. the plants seem fine even if the one is a little late..

Hey man. The only shock they really went through was a deficiency I had to correct early to mid flower.

I think they're just maturing at different rates... but who knows!!

Hopefully it all turns out ok!

Bterzz can i ask you a question about pruning your plants please?

When do you remove the lower nodes and that so you have a few fat buds on top, I tryed this myself just as i started 12-12 and i dont think i removed enough but was close. When do you remove yours? and how do you know how many to remove? By the way dude there looking great and you have done a good job on them ladys :D

My first time, with my OG, I pruned around the 2-3 week mark. This time, I pruned a little earlier, but found that they did continue to have some stretch.

If I were to do it again with the same strain I would wait until around day 12 to start removing and remove throughout day 18 or so.

I helped a friend prune one of his plants because he was scared to cut as much off as I like to, and that one lady was noticeably better in weight compared to the others.

day 18 of flower your prune to?

its a bit weird how one is looking atleast 2 weeks head of the other, they were all hand watered hey? what other variables can you throw into the mix? you mentioned earlier that there could be two mothers??

mines just taken about 5 days to really get into swing of flowering, i hope they are finished by week 8... someone here will have to take care of things while i'm deep in the pow pow!

Real nice thread man!

My 2 cents on the varying plants...
If you grew these from seed which i believe you said you did...
They will not all be identical in Pheno and structure.
Each individual seed can and will carry different characteristics from the parenting plants... as shown by your pic above it is clear that they are not the same pheno...
Different traits in the gene's of the seed will dictate flowering time, structure etc...
All in all they look great!
On the plants you showed with the leaf damage. this is usually caused by over watering causing root damage. The plant has grown a certain size, and if there is some root damage the plant cannot support its full growth and the results are shown in dead tissue on some leaves. Only way to be certain is when you chop them, inspect the roots for bug's, larvae, symptoms of root rott etc... this is what we call live and learn, lol
Again great show man! Cheers

Hey Jrosek, thats for stopping by. That sounds about right. One of the plants that I took out of the room and out of the bag, the roots were WEAK. The roots were WEAK to begin with too, transfering from 8oz cup the roots were dried up badly. That could have possibly been my problem.

Technique, lookin good dude. Honestly, its kind of hard to tell from the pictures but what I like to do is wait until they are near the end of there stretch, and cut off anything that "braches" off. Anything that is branching off of a main branch, I like to remove because I feel the buds connected to the main branch will get that much fatter. I feel when a skinny stem is branching off the main branch.

The plant that my cat broke, around week 3.5, is made up of only 2 branches now. Broke the main stalk right down the center, big hole in the stalk, it healed and has a huge cola, one of my bigger ones, and its not even the main cola.

-- About my soil mix. 2:1 OF:coco.
honestly, I've heard so many people talk down on it I dont know what to think. It makes sense, that running a soil like OF which likes a higher PH level around 6.7 and COCO wanting a much lower PH of around 5.8 seems like they would be a conflict in interest. I got the idea from a hydro shop owner and everything seemed to work great until I ran into my leaf problems, which could be from multiple reasons which I'm still 100% sure of.

Still getting some mite issues, but nothing to serious. Starting to get nervous about the ones that dont look finished, but some of my heathiest plants dont look finished so I think they're just going to take longer, and may even be delayed because of my issues I ran into earlier.

The ones that look more finished, have been spitting out tons of more white hairs and they look as if they're going to have another growth spurt.. :xmasnut:

I was planning on having dry smoke before X-mas...but...:eggnog:

remember coco plants take longer to finish then soil, even in some of the auto seed selections at a certain seed bank they say if growing in coco give them maybe a week longer as plants take longer since they grow bigger.

id recomend u just grow coco next time, its easier, cheaper and the performance is better, and flushing is easier as well. dirts heavy n expensive and with cocos ph needs youll run into cal mag problems more with a mix then without one even though people will tell u otherwise, its an organic medium that if u treat it like hydro it will reward u. my tap waters slightly alkaline and i drink it , big key phrase is=would u drink your tap water? i wouldnt in the southwest like arizona no way never but were im at its sweet n tasty, after i add my gh nutes either floranova bloom or the flora series my ph is in the sweet spot everytime which ive tested with my drops and i adjust it none. alot of people think the chlorine in tap water is so toxic, how we grew an organic garden this year that shot up 2-3 feet in one week with toxic water to the ''micro herd'' is beyond me, and when ive filtered my water plants showed no differance, if u have a good water source id eliminate the ffof, overpriced b.s and just use the coco, one of the main reasons i like coco is its cheaper then dirt, lighter then dirt, and less messy then dirt and performs better then dirt, i just dont have the patience to make individual mixes for each container with 4-6 things like some folks do for less performance, cant do it.

The only reason I am nervous to run CoCo in 3 gallon pots is because I'm

1) Nervous i'll have to water too often.
2) Nervous my PH adjustment wont be perfect because I use drops, as do you.
3) I wont get the taste of soil.

-- I was thinking of running straight OF/perlite my next run, but CoCo is for sure on my mind..

Maybe I will make the switch.
