It would work just fine,finding a reflector that fits the area may be diffucult but a 250w HPS in that area is as good as you're going to get.It allows for 62w/square foot and 7000 lumens/square foot.

Hey Jnugg: You inspired me to work on my sketchup skills so I practiced on a new cabinet I'm building. Can't seem to get a very hi-rez image out of it but this is what it looks like.

There's a thread with my signature that follows the design and construction. I've built a custom cool hood for the light but I still can't decide on a 150 or 250 setup. 250 would give me 100+ watts/sf considering the net grow area is less than 2.5 SF.
Do you think a 250 is overkill in a box this size and or would cause heat problems? I was planning to power the cool hood with a 50 cfm PC fan and tests show I've got 35 cfm coming through the scrubber to ventilate the box.

I think drawing them is easier than building them. Looks like you're suffering from the jaggies when drawing...You may want to turn on the anti-alaising there...

The jaggies are an artifact of of turning the sketchup 3d models into 2d jpeg images. I noticed the same thing with my post earlier.

I want to make it custom to a style of V-sog, with 2-3 walls of growing surface area (the fourth side is the door obviously)
Ideally around 5-6 feet tall, 3 wide,3 deep, and able to support 400w directly in the middle of the box.
I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a basic box to support 400w of a Micro-VSOG.
