Sounds about right :) look forward to the update.

Some SWT#3 from a couple of weeks ago.

Nice, that SWT looks really frosty.

Here are some pictures of the SPG from today. THe smallest plant is showing the most purple, and even that one is not showing too much. After trimming I am thinking the buds will be almost entirely green with little to no purple, which is fine by me. I think people go overboard and put way to much emphasis on the color of bud. I dont care what color the plant material is as long as its packed with resin.

beautiful stuff man,idk how i missed this for all the time.i am glad i got to see them before ya took the axe to them though.good job w them holmz.ur right, people do put alot of emphasize on color, its all bag appeal, once they smoke it,if its bomb they dont too much matter what colors it is.and you never know, after the chop as they dry them buds might get a nice tinit to them dried up.i have a couple strains that do that.

Well its about that time guys. The lights have been off all day today and the plants will be bathing in dark, hopefully packing on resin in one last sprint before they are chopped down.

I am chopping tomorrow and will be going out of town for 10-11 days while they dry. Do you guys think it would be better to trim, but leave fan leaves to slow the drying process? Humidity is like 60-70 w/o the light on, so drying will be slow anyways. Usually I like to chop off all of the fan leaves before cutting off a single branch because its easier to see the buds and structure of the plant, and it makes for some good pics.

Here are 2 more pictures before the chop. I will take a bunch of pictures before the chop and will do my best to put them up before I leave town. I will be very stoned and tired so going around town looking for internet access will be questionable. I am having trouble with my wired connection at the moment.

I always trim first and then hang to dry. The beauty of the tents if that they can both grow it and dry it safely :joint:

Ya the tents are very good for growing and drying, but it means you have to chop all the plants at once, so if there is any undergrowth its tough to give it a little more time to ripen. Luckily there is not too much below the canopy this time around. I think I will probably end up just doing all of the trimming, fan leaves and all tomorrow, and I will leave everything in the closed tent while I am gone with fans on a timer. I think the fans should help get humid or stale air out of there; I would like some reccomendations on what kind of interval to set the fans on for, I don't want the buds to be crispy when I get back, but I doubt that will happen. Last time it seems drying took a good 2 weeks, but my memory may be a little off

Cut fan leaves and hang them danky girls.... Slows the wait and excells the time. Very impressive friend. Very impressive.

Sorry it took so long to get these last pictures up. My internet was having some major issues after I got home. Everything dried well while I was gone and the buds were all in great condition except for one huge one which looks like it got a tiny bit of powdery mildew or something and ended up in the trash. Final yield was 11.6 ozs. This was a dramatic improvement over last harvest which was around 5-6 ozs. Thank you all for watching and helping me during this grow.

Awesome job man.

I had some problems with FoxFarm GrowBig also. Some of the lower fan leaves were going necrotic on me. I tried Epsom salts (didn't help) but never did get any Calmag like some other growers recommended. I just decided to switch to FloraNova Grow & Bloom and haven't had any problems since. I wound up trying KoolBloom for flowering but didn't like it much. It dried out some of the leaves on my buds to the point that they would crack and break when touched. A more experienced grower told me before hand that KoolBloom did this so I was forewarned. The KoolBloom caused new growth to shoot from the tops of my buds, kind of similar to fox tailing but not as desirable looking as foxtails.

I've been hearing really good things about FoxFarm's triple pack (Cha-Ching, Open Sesame, and Beastie Bloomz) for flowering. I bought some Beastie Bloomz but haven't tried it yet. Hopefully it will work well. I can't afford the Cha-Ching or the Open Sesame right now so I'm kind of unsure whether or not to use the Beastie Bloomz without them. Beastie Bloomz is supposed to be added in the last half of flowering, all the way up until harvest. The one thing I'm unsure of (If I plant to use the BB by itself) is whether I should use it while I'm doing my flush? The directions say it should be used from the "Middle to the final weeks of flowering" but that's a little ambiguous in my opinion. Are they taking into account a flush?

Great grow man. Any more pics of the buds? Have you put them into jars yet or do you simply dry and bag everything up? Really nice job man, especially after only growing once before. You're already getting professional results and I'm definitely impressed.

Awesome grow Fear, very impressed on how it turned out after all the issues you had, good work!

Heres what I do in my tent to harvest when each plant is ready instead of chopping all at once.

I put a divider in my tent which consists of a light proof material - Panda film is what I use. I divide off a small section and run the divider from the roof to the floor (doesn't have to be 100% light proof just stop the direct rays), then i hang some drying lines off the roof framing. i Then hang the buds off the lines and dry as you normally would, It's cheap easy and lets you get the best of your plants, I found they cured perfectly with v good aroma's. Just dry till they crack - paper bag - glass jar - burp!

I'm about 3 weeks away from harvesting i'll post a pic to illustrate what i mean, bit hard to discribe!
