Amber glass(hard/shatter BHO) and budder goes for ~$60/g at clubs. It isnt unreasonable to get 30/g for this type of product and it is easier to hide an oz of BHO than it is the cash equivalant of bud, less competition, less possible odor, and undeniable potency. What could they say to drive the price down? It's not strong enough? It's too leafy? lol. You'll have a much easier time selling the BHO than the BUD, no backpack required.

I just watched the video on 9news.... i wouldnt call it bolted since one guy pulled it off the wall & floor.............looked like they had drywall anchors in the drywall
just looked like the owners didnt know what they were doing when it came to security........also no alarm......but they had cameras who got 3 masked men.........you got to have the loudest f*ckin siren possible & a real "bolted" down safe......that alone will work almost every time after hours.....when your open is a different story.

My meds are stored nice and tight and could sit for ever, however my buddy is in a pinch and needs the $ to support his current grow.
Pretty decent quality also. He keeps asking me for advice and I tell him I cant go to bat for him because im already in the game. Hate to see him get burned being that he is pretty much a old hippie recluse that most likely wont retaliate if robbed or makes a bad decision with a club. Any where I have been is upfront with cash so I really dont know the consignment game, just looking for some insight from people who have "consigned" meds to clubs

Ask for a cash today bid. And if they tell you you must "consign" you can be pretty sure they are not the people you want to deal with anyways. Carry enough paperwork for the quantity you have with you
Sometimes if you have too much quantity with you at first - they can figgure your the new green-guy on the block. So it is not wise to start with a pounder. Take 35-40 grams (call it a fat ounce) in a jar - or a couple jars if you have multi strains - When they buy - stop back in a week or two and see how it worked for them. They should re-stock.
It's hard to figgure everybody is out to steal and rip-off when infact, most are good folks. One bad apple can spoil the whole bunch in a heart beat.
That front plan- I hear about meds that come back after being kief screened - or molded., and the wrong bud - and one, that a whole dispensary just disappeared. Then there is the fact - if I sell it to them - it is thier property to do with as they wish - if it is consigned - it is MY property to do with as THEY please.
I've had 1 dispensary try the "we are going to consignments", ploy, I bagged my goodies and left. The next day I gassed up the scooter and went visiting.
If it happens again, I'm going to tell the dispensary that I am going to a pay in advance order format. I have deliveries open in 6 months.
I can move them up.
For a slight increase in price. Wink!

As for the smash and grab, if you don't want the look of bars on the windows use a 4 or 7 mill security film on your glass. It's a real bitch to push out if its sealed right.

i just wanted to post an update about my experiences at a few clubs in socal...
i am headed home for the holidays and i was over my med limit for my last grow. so i brought my 'extra' meds down to a few local spots. the prices they were offering we insanly lower then they used to be. maybe it was a fluke, maybe clubs are closed for a few days over the holiday so they might not need too much inventory but under 3000 / lb ?? i was getting over 4 in the past and these meds are TOP QUALITY (if you dont believe me check my grow diary). I ended up getting abt $175 / zip. My lazyness may have been a factor because i didnt want to break up the lot or drive ard all day looking for places to take the rest but F* i was expecting 250 - 300 for Valley OG Kush getting 65 watts / sq foot taken at 70+ days with perfectly trimmed larged buds and colas. I left thinking whatever, i think i may have just covered the cost of my grow investment but in hindsight those prices sucked. if i wanted to sell it non medical i would have gotten twice as much. I think that the thing that kills me the most is when i go in there, i'm sure my meds are going for insane prices to the ppl that really need it.

just wanted to post my honest experience up... maybe some ppl will use the info. i dont see a lot of people putting up exact numbers in oz. i learned from this one so maybe some else might too. i know that next time when i'm not in a rush i will sit on it until i see $250 compensation which is still down from 6 months to a yr ago but i think fair. This was my first time vending to a club (for a whole # and i went to one place) how much do you think top quality should go for wholesale per lb? 4k lbs are 250 zips. i won't devalue the market anymore now that i see no matter what clubs get product for they still wqueeze every penny from the pts..

sticking your head up your tail to get less than your worth hurts everybody in the long run - how are the patients helped by you bending over - its not gonna matter whether you charge the club 48 for the p or 32 for the p the club is still gonna charge a little bit more than 'street price' no matter what. if your shit was really worth more than 175/oz, you hurt your fellow growers and the patients alike by not taking what you need to off the table and leaving it for the shops.... you are dropping the market wholesale value while the retail value stayed the exact same.
i know money is tight and all. its a tough economy and its xmas. but this is like giving in and just taking it.... why grow top shelf if you arent gonna command top shelf?
