How do you get away with it?

Growing in a greenhouse seems like a dream to me, id really like to run some hazes or something in a greenhouse.

I cant seem to shake the feeling it would bite me in the ass bigtime having one. How is it you greenhouse growers get awaywith it. Whats the secret? Is there some kinda secret, how can the law not suspect? i dunno, it seems like a growroom without a roof to me

It is!

It is!

It is a growroom without a roof or walls!

You never really shed those feelings, you learn to live with them.

Have you taken the "greenhouse growers test?"

Peace

P.S. Greenhouse growers test: Take 3 steps. Did you hear a clanking sound? That's how you know if you've got what it takes!

Well I think keeping your GH on the small size helps, you can get then with a light defusing covering which is opaque but really the bottom line is if you won't feel safe with an outdoor grow then it won't be all that much safer with a GH. Mine is where you can not readily see it.

grow tomatos all round the edge and a few weed plants in the middle. if you are an active gardener and have your garden looking productive and attractive then no-one should be suspicious of your greenhouse. having said that it is a little like hanging your bare arse out of the window and hoping nobody sees it. i must say i prefer the stealth of growing indoors.
but plants grown under gods great bulb do have an edge over indoors potency and phsycoactivity wise. :)

The question is whether or not you think people will be poking around or not. If you're somewhat secluded there should be less of an issue. I've been thinking about doing this for awhile now and will probably do it this spring. Here are my plans:

Make sure that I have regular food plants planted on the property. Greenhouses are there to start plants early and keep the weather off of them. In fact I will actually fill the greenhouse with tomato, pepper, and strawberry plants, maybe a few squash types too. When its time, move all the food plants out, well not all, but a lot. Enter the weed. I think 5 plants in 10 gal containers will give me exactly what I want: plants that will want to grow up against the roof. Light Diffusers will be imperative to have to protect against helicopter cops.

Make sure to note which way the wind blows normally. Where i live its either blowing west to east, south to north, and any variant in between. If the smell of ganja blows to your neighbors house you can get fucked. If you have no neighbors, you are golden.

Like verdant said, make sure you take care of all your plants to keep suspicion down. Also cut your hair hippy.

Also, buy or acquire 3 or 4 meanish dogs :)

I saw a greenhouse in the "post your greenhouse" thread where someone took what looks like a 2 car garage and put clear roofing on it and panda film on the walls. They said it works great.

Any shed will do, just put clear roofing on it and panda film on the walls, I mean who cares about a shed in your backyard? There are in every third backyard around here.

unless you take great care, plants like tomatoes, cukes and squash are disease magnets. Tomatoes get blights and spots and cukes and squash get PM like no other plants anywhere. You will probably hopelessly infect your green house with spores and shit and have a bad outcome. Being clean and anal is the route to greenhouse success. Air exchange, air movement, coping with heat and cold within tolerances, just a few of the issues. Good luck

if your not in a medical state move to one get your card .get a house in the middle of nowhere and those paranoid feels will go away real quick =) costly fix to for problem but for some people like me it was well worth it.

Right on!
There are more than a few cover plants you can use that will ward off pests. Marigolds, most culinary herbs, and peppers are all fairly safe and a row or two of corn, spaced a safe distance from your greenhouse, can provide excellent windbreak and visual cover.
Some greenhouse and outdoor growers I know hang red christmas ornaments (fake tomatoes) and plastic flowers from the dollar store on their cannabis plants for an added layer of confusion.

the dogs are a great idea and as far as guard dogs giving you up i dont think they will but if you had conservative neighbors and that would be the case my parents have a beagle and a mutt that bark and chase all the people that bike by and also if anyone does need a pit bull i have plenty of them and sale pups hit me up

Greenhouse Guard!

Greenhouse Guard!

Oh Yeah, it helps to have a 24hr guard service!

Here's Molly my Shar Pei. I have friends & family that come by regularly & they won't turn their backs on her!

I make sure to let her bark & growl at the door every Halloween, to so ALL of the neighbor kids see her up close & angry!

She earns her food!

Peace
doublejj
P.S. She will nibble a leaf once in a while (with a preference for Kush), but that's a small price to pay!
