Apogee 3 was my favorite piece for many years.

Charlie here was something on Columbia I found
Mostly about Prohibtion corruption but interesting. It states in here somewhere that The Santa Marta strain was original a Mexican Indica hybrid. Who knows how acurate these reports are but good read though.

Apogee 3 was my favorite piece for many years.

This is first Panaman I got long ago and worked in the Panaman research, not used in ACE Panaman. Which one of all 4 worked should be called Panama Red? Hard to tell and thats why is so hard to know for sure like many other things. Long flowering leaf machine some years never took it to flower. Resembles some traits of such "maybe punto rojo" in the pic above? But so hard to say for sure nowdays, not many pics seen like those to compare.

Thanx for the reading, comes well for a rainny sunday reading :joint: many travellers also in the 60s-70s and much hibridation happened. Is what we were saying about Jamaican, is hard to know the original start point of many. Wish some old schoolers were still around and sharing good info at least of whatever happened. Must have been so fun those days for sure

Four seasons, thank's for sharing all this beautys bro! I have some of this vintage High Times magazines, I bought them from a collector some years ago, love read them and see all of this trully cannabis pics connosieurs.
Many of the pics, came from Laurence Cherniak, he also has some superb books but too expensive for me,"The great book of Hashish" ( 3 volumes).

Love that pic charlie, for sure one of my fauvorites, hope one day I could grow this beauty and enjoi the red experience. Love this red stigmas and the purple/redish flowers and underleafs.

Great pictures and some great articles in old High Times indeed Ras Pablo. Agree about Mr Cherniak books :yeahthats

As talked several times seemed to me that different types of reds in last decades have been so easy to find growing in some central and southamerican countries, from lowlands to highlands, fluffies, leafies, mellow, speedy, red, green, purple. Funny thing a guy from Ecuador said not long ago the reds growing in his area where called "purple haze" by locals. You see how much and how funny names can change, so hard to take them too extrictly.

these some purple reds highlands from some good friends who work them well and help us in our Colombian research. Long flowering ones

Charlie that Panama is an almost match. I like the Beautiful plants with extreme Sativa Dominant growth paterns in the flower structure. Very Nice indeed.
Interesting read on the "Brotherhood" High Times 1975

Amazing how little the high end oz price has changed since 1976. The top quality in my area back then sold for $200/oz and still does now in the same city three decades later or at most it is $250/oz depending on connections. My area seems to have fluctuated between $20/oz and $200/oz back then, now it would rarely go under $180.00 and almost never go over $250/oz even for bubble. Sounds like there might be a bigger variance in the US with all the imported "mids" and lower vs the high end "humbolts" and other triple A.

Gotta wonder if the "Gorilla Enterprises Supergrass" was an early endeavour of Silverback (rip)? Same hometown, same miss-spelling of guerilla..hmm. this thread is my favourite in many years fourseasons. Thanks.
