Can someone please tell me how often you had to water your plants in the desert when there's polymer crystals in the soil? And how much water and crystals you put in? And if possible the temps that your grow sites would hit in the months they hit?

The area I'm looking at is 108 in July. The highest it gets. I've read they need a gallon a day to they won't need water for a wide range of days.

I really need to get a better idea on this before I can figure out how many plants I put in the ground. If its not everyday than I can divide 50 plants into watering 25 one day and 25 the next or divide 50 plants into 3 if its 3 days. If its everyday than I'll have to go with at most 25 tops. I know one mans grow won't match mine in finer details because of different strains/temps but even a ball park idea will probably be a big help.

My goal is to make money doing this, supply clones, bud, hash, maybe edibles to dispensaries. Buy a prefab house of some kind. Buy some land somewhere, put the house on it and grow in doors. Growing indoors is what I've always wanted really but its impossible at the moment.

I know middle eastern sativa strains do best in high heat places but with all the water and light they'd be getting they'll probably hit 20 feet tall. Even Stevie Wonder could spot them by July. Maybe 50/50 mixes might be better. I don't know. I've read literally everything I can find on everything there is to this but I still have zero experience.

I'm definitely going to do a grow journal once its all started. From digging holes to bud porn. I know its not going to be easy but I'm very determined.

I would think you would need to water daily. I know I do, but it is hotter here.

I added a humidifier and have had the best luck ever in veg. Actually it worked so good I'm out of room and well be throwing clones away. Kal-EI would have PM'ed ya awhile back but I haven't posted enough yet to be able to do that!

Space queen and 3D are both nice strains. I used to have space queen and smoked some 3D with a buddy.

and i'd do damn near anything to get some space queen in my neighborhood...heterosexually speaking, of course. vic was going to send me some originals way back when...then he disappeared and i haven't seen or heard from him since. i did get to sample some finish produce, done by others, and i've always felt his space queen was exceptional, imnsho...!

yeah, been growing outdoors in the tucson to las vegas corridor since the early 80's and i always have to water twice/day leading up to and out of the ~hot~ months...and 3-4 times/day during the 1-teens time. when it's deep in the 100's they still wilt a little no matter how much watering but they always get back to normal not long after the sun sets. tucson grows produced some of the largest humboldt skunk i have ever seen! my personal best was a 3.4 pounder (trimmed and dried) off of a 14 footer...

imo i wouldnt even waste my time trying to grow outdoor here esspecially during the summer u'd have to tent the whole grow for shade tents and what not or the sun would fry everything it just seems like way to much money to throw out there to me to really make a good run at it id just take your money and invest in a 1000 watt light thats the start next thing u know you'll have a shed full of equipment itll take ya almost a uhaul truck just to move your grow equipment lol

Not so billy, had a real nice one out in my back yard all summer, watered once a day all summer and it turned out some pretty nice product, no shade screen . it deffinatly wasent top smoke but it came up on its own so no telling what it was, but the point is u can grow outside if you water enough.

i've been told over and over that these plants dont like the direct sunlight on them when its 108 degrees know what i mean it'd deffinatelly be a water eceryday thing and i was told u use the tents to protect them from the mid day high uv index sunlight and u let them get there light in the am and during the evening i dunno ive never tried out door here never would unless i lived in the middle of no where and i would tent them up myself to get the best possible product that i could the heat here is brutal and it probablly wouldnt be that bad if there was a non stop breeze something moving the air as long as the airs moving quite well ur plants would do well i dunno i havent even tried tomatoes here outside yet we only been here 2 years so far were probablly going to move back to southern oregon coast as soon as we are done with college i dont see alot of outdoor oppertunities at outdoor growing here know what i mean

if ya throw them outside you might want at least cover them at night or bring them indoors its gettin a lil nippy out for plants mid to low 40's some high 30's but only a couple times so far this year toss em in a window lol

the first three were vegged for 2 months and topped and all the other three were clones that got almost a months worth of veg beings i burnt my plants watering with acidic EWC tea due to faulty ph pen i was only able to save three or id have 6 that look like the 3 big ones i could only save 3 though but if you look at the pics closer in fact you will notice 2 different phenos here and only one maybe 2 of them look to be that lanky pheno theres one pheno outta the two ive germd from seeds made by my twin brother with tga's apollo 13 female and tga's male jack the ripper just not by sub himself but anyways when i first started running this strain i had horrible returns a general rookie mistake i over watered and way over fed since ive tightened up in them areas and as long as the pheno is the right one the indie dom lookin one big leafs and short as hell likes to grow horrizontanal colas lol i use stakes to open the bushes up so that all the plant gets a good dose of light if you look at the bigger ones youll notice bamboo stakes all over in them and thats what they're doin is opening up the bush so the buds on the insides of the colas get a good solid shot of light too and finish off just as nicely as the outter side at the moment its on nothing but water carbs and molasses i'm going to flush them for as long as i can because at day 45 is one of my feeding days really beings im running true organics i dont really need to "flush" but i think it makes the smoke taste better so i try for a week at least due to the move i willnt have a full 2 week flush im gonna have like an 11 or 12 day flush trichs are looking to come around nicely not quite there but almost im sure they'll be ready for harvest tomorrow morning but i might let them go a lil longer just to get a good flush i more less wanna get the worm tea and liquid bone meal a chance to exit the plant even though they are both 100% organic in fact both edible thats how organic lol but ya ya im gonna be pulling these down either tomorrow or sometime in the begining of next week i want to be trimmed and at least in canning jars by the time we move the smell is way over bearing to have the weed in the house drying with it in no kinda container so if i harvest withing the next few days no later than monday so i have time to trim n what not and possiblly run a batch of bubble if not i can wait to run the bubble till we get settled into our new house less than 2 weeks december 7th is the day the day the japanese awoke there sleeping giant to there west and paid for it dearly ive been to the old like bunker um comand attack post before as a kid my dad took us to go and see it they fired upon the jap sub but the japs either fired one torpedo and it didnt go off or they just shagged ass cant remeber that part of the story man that was a long time ago almost 25 years ago good times as a child i cant complain my dad always knew how to show his kids a good time

my last harvest before i scoot on to my new house now that its done we can move on to greener pastures and bigger gardens i need at least two flower rooms this waiting on a harvest every other month shits for the birds but ya heres one of the better ones there were 3 this size i guess the others are still on my camera i hope it took the pics if not meh
so theres 4 of them 2 of each pheno i like the shorter fatter one by far
there were 2 that looked exactally like the fat one then theres the taller one thats super bushy them were my three bigger ones and the other three are a tad smaller if they woulda had there full veg time this woulda been a kick ass harvest live and learn live n learn i cant wait till i get 2 flower rooms its gonna kick ass yo

not so hot but not so cold either my last crop showed mold on me so im thinking bho or bubble man did it really ruin my dank ass weed to much going on trying to move and all at the sametime turned out to be myself and my 56 year old father in law ya sucked balls then i go look at my checking account and it seems someone that was helping us move took a checking account and tried to see how much money was in it but they took the closed checking account dumbass like i wouldnt have my current one in my wallet so much for friends ehh sometimes its worth it to see how much the other party values you as a person obviouslly not much bah but i got moved and cant wait to get set back up again oh its gonna be so much better this time yo bigger house can get 2 flower rooms and a veg room outta the space i got cant bitch there

Joesy and Del, hope you guys are still green as ever.

Joesy, just saw on a thread that you picked up a pack of the Mosca C99 F6s last year. Have ypou had a chance to grow 'em out?? C99 was one of the first strains I grew 5 or 6 years ago and definitely looking for a reunion.

been running fem seed mostly so far in my 250w set-up and after two years of living in this state still don't know any other growers around here face to face, lol. but thinking about getting a 10 pack of mosca's or rez's when they come out and making a small batch of seeds each male to each female.

In the what's happening now dept. just cracked some 3-year-old Female Seeds Cinnamon and got a couple nice looking seedlings:

P.S. if any of my SW desert peeps are looking to play with the Skunkman's original haze x skunk#1 (or 4-pak of FMS nev's haze hybrid), i've got a 5 pack (same order batch as these cinnamon) that I just don't wanna try under a 250 with 4 sq ft. and not unlimited headroom.
