It is a UC, my little empire is a CF of where is the next plant? So some went in pretty small and some went in huge. The one kush in my system should be ready a month from now and the rest soon after that. There is a system of 7 PKs in that room too they will be ready in three weeks or so.

Funny thing, I was thinking about that twisty tie stuff and want to put about 3 packs in every room just to make things easier ;)

Peace, :joint:

They look look way more bushy than my stringy ladies also on their 28th day today, but I think my 2Kw and 50 square feet gives them more room to run. How many plants and square feet for your 1200w again?

Peace, :joint:

I have 8 plants taking up ~25 square feet under 1200w.

Cheers

EDIT: "You must spread some reputation around before giving to Hydrosun again!" - Ya man I want to but I need a veg room as well as this room, so I might be putting the buckets away and subbing in another 600w so 1800w over a 4x8 dtw coco 6/9 1g/gal epsom salt gh grow yadida mean????

looking very nice. amazing how pronounced the difference in growth rate seems between the 2 lights.
Yes, it is amazing. Although I do have to admit I have recently learned the magnetic ballast is coming up on 6 years of age, while this is the lumatek's first run.

Here is a picture of outside my rooms; have both ballasts outside and you can see the two 10 awg lines coming from the top each of them has their own 30 amp breaker. After this run with the BD I'm giving the magnetics back to my buddy and picking up another 600w and 1000w digi.

When this grow is done, the results and hard numbers needs to be posted to the Growroom Design thread sub-forum. The groundless sniping and dismissal of the practical benefits of using an e-ballast over a magnetic ballast has, to date, ignored real practical benefits of an increased yield.

After this grow diary, that obvious benefit zooms to the top, with a bullet. That alone makes this one of the most useful grow journals on all of ICMag, ever.

Daaaamm Raph I've been missing out on heaps in here! They're looking beautiful.

Fatigues, you have a very valid point, the difference in growth is so clearly shown in the canopy shots.

Well done on the great side by side raph.

Peace keke

I will definitely be posting the results in the Growroom design forum fatigues; I am happy others may find this comparison useful! Thank you for the good vibes my friend :)

Well I should be going; my roommate is out of town and I must go frolic around my house in the nude cheers

do I see that you have 2 600s off the same timer, on a power strip? is that a heavy duty strip or something? I am just curious out of concern because with most of the cheap strips that would be a fire concern, no?

2 600's should be fine on 1 strip / timer. Most are rated for 15A. that would be all i would have on that though..

Nice grow Raphael

Two12s, there is actually 1600w through that powerstrip and one timer. The powerstrip, timer, and splitter are all rated 15a 1875watts. At least once a day I have felt all around the connections as the lights flip on, in the middle of the day, and right before lights out and none of the connections or wires are hot to the touch; no more than 90F. The temp of my magnetic ballast is 126F! That is what I am more worried about.

You are right! Thanks for the good vibes natagonnaworrie :joint:
holy shiiat, look at those buds frosting up!

K+ bro!
Yes I am liking this Blue Dream. I think I'm going to start adding silica booster so the plants will be stronger...they have thick stems but so easy to snap not enough air movement around canopy I been taking lotsa buds off today that were under the canopy as well as ones that were not getting light. I have patches of PM around the middle I have been controlling and slowly eradicating by removing growth and increasing air movement under and above and through the canopy. The OG Kush, white widow, and Green Crack are all PM resistant while the g13, kali mist, blue dream, lime were more susceptible.

I am growing Blue Dream (Blueberry x Haze)

Blue Dream Haze = Blueberry x FLo

Im not sure silica will help this late in flower bro, we have noticed focusing cola growth by lollipopping, sog crowding, and trimming lowers helps with yield.

It may be a confound, but I am having better results in large Coco than in DWC with Blue Dream, I will be running a root volume comparison side by side in coco. I had my best result from a temp mom veged out in shredded rockwool rose container. Seems to best with extra veg; you will get at least 25% decrease running 12/12 from rooted clone.

Looking good and thanks again for your research effort.

:thanks:

I want to make a 6 bucket system like yours. can you post some picks of the controller. What size pump? how often do you recirculate the water or is it continuous?

Hey Brother, Hope all has been well with the grow. I wanted to see what the end result is, did you pull 1 gram per watt. I am in the process of trying to prove that to some of my friends and they don't believe me but you totally nailed that target great job, let us know how it was.

very nice looking buds raphael.
how tall was when you change the timer?
They were vegged for just around 2 weeks:smokeit:

Ya I didn't end up adding any silica. I have about two more weeks left before I take the girls down. I am going to do a 1600w over 4x8 tray after these girls come down.

My controller is just a rubbermaid that has the water falling 8 or so inches down into the res with a hole and pipe that goes to the pump. The chiller and meter probes are in there too. The pump is always on, 750 gph per 8 buckets w/ 105 liter/hour air pump for max dissolved oxygen. 1/2" tubing feeds at bottom of bucket, drains at top of bucket w/ screen blocking roots.

Thanks for the good vibes! I just got back from being away from the girls for a week and they look fantastic albeit a little high on the ec scale @ .7 1700 ppm they have a couple weeks left and I'm only adding in 110 ppm tap water that's been filtered through my ro and pre filters. Will let you know on the weight once it's been on the triple beam :xmasnut::window::tree::pie::smokeit:

I will update with pictures tomorrow. Good night:santa1:
