600w co2 scrog grow, help me dial it in ;)

Sorry guys, I was devastated and hiding under a rock lol. The scrog went bad (again). Growth stunted, buds ended up underdeveloped etc.
I am currently flowering 4 Blackjacks. I also changed some things about my room:
-First, no more venting period (the space is sealed)
-I added a carbon scrubber (this may have been my problem before)
-My co2 is controlled by a ppm3 (before was set on a constant flow rate)
-switched to my waterfarms and plumed them to my main res (Kind of a pseudo dwc)

A final word on my failed scrog: I think the mechanics of it were great, screen, training, spacing etc. The big lesson for me was ENVIRONMENT, guys learn from me ;)

Here is a pic of the blackjacs I'm flowering:

Sorry to hear it went bad for you. I don't really understand what happened, but while I accept that air was a significant problem, I somehow doubt that not venting at all will result in an improvement.

CO2 is all well and good, but what were your ambient temps? A constant CO2 flow may put your ppms too high, but too high CO2 is not going to do the plants any damage.

The other, and perhaps better option, is to put your CO2 bottle away for a bit and just let em grow with fresh air. There is a whole planet's worth, (about 8 km thick), of biosphere that confirms that this approach works extremely well and has for about 4 billion years or so. :)

Still not understanding what went wrong or how the above action plan is going to correct it - but I wish you the best of luck with it.

I hear you fatigues, that would be the easy thing for me to do, and I do have other things going on ;), but I refuse to be defeated on this project lol. I'm getting closer though, I'm 3 weeks into flower and they are not stunted, on the contrary, they are pushing hard.
It is no secret that dialing in a sealed grow space is not easy, but great things rarely are.
I had several things go wrong last time around, de-humidifier broke, co2 fluctuation, feed pump failure, no air filtration, you name it lol.

So far so good this time, a mg def. since early clone stage, but it has been addressed.

Thanks for your input ;)

First of all .... Great thread! Thank you for sharing . I lost 2.5 crops because of low ph. Below 5 cause nute lock out and the resin glands don't grow. I had a room full of foot long buds that never filled out. Made a pathetically small amount of hash out of it. Now I am on top of it.

That's how you learn. Good luck on the next one . We all make our own karma! No one can give it to you. Peace!

Thanks Red Swan, I'm with you on the Karma thing as well ;), cause and effect come always together but so view of us understand that.
I notice that my ph always takes a little dive during flower onset. I let it take me down to about 5.4 then I SLOWLY bring it up again.
Sorry to hear about your ph problems, but they will make you stronger ;)
