EDIT- it's actually 'jar of the day' today! what a surprise... i thought, due to visual inspection/trich production, that this pheno wasn't going to be the strongest, but it's great! i hate to say it, but it's definitely stronger than the sensi star x leb'n'cheese, which had WAY larger trichs... either that or i'm misreading the high... it is extremely clean, and i do still have waves some time after consumption... just feel pretty 'unstoned' during it? weird... it's the best of all the smokes (sweet candyfloss, thick smoke) by a mile too! ****z...
maybe it's still settling, chemically, and the magic moment is soon... or maybe i'm chatting a whole PILE of shite!

Hey people..!

I've had a busy time lately, what with working 10hr night shifts, but been making a lot of progress with my plans.

I viewed a property (to rent) a few days ago. Looked a bit better in the pics on the web because they were old pics and didnt show recent, near by development but all in all it ain't bad. Has quite large back and front gardens. Back garden has the potential to be reasonably secluded and the pitch of the roof is quite high, meaning a large loft. So, I've decided to go for it, even though it means moving in the first week of Jan.
The garden needs a fair bit doing to it, including putting up a fence. Once all thats done it should be cool for the odd auto among the flora. I'm thinking the loft would be good for an indoor setup though I will need to check a few things out and consider many things before starting a setup up there. I have my 250w grow wardrobe to get me going in the mean time.

I bought some new genetics for indoors the other day. Waiting on postie to deliver a single seed selection pack of Greenhouse feminised seeds. The pack contains 5 seeds, one each of SSH, ArjansStrawberryHaze, ArjansHaze#1, NevillesHaze and HawaiianSnow. For £26 or so I think that's pretty good. To buy 5 packs of the mixed beans works out cheaper than buying packs of 5 fem'd of all one strain of those classy sativa types. Cheaper by more than £70..!! Odd but good to know.. Just hoping these fem'd beans are sound, meaning no hermies! I've never tried fem'd beans before but being Greenhouse seeds they should be top quality.
I was thinking of also buying something a little more indica leaning though I have a tin with plenty of strains in it. I should have a look through those first..

i take it ALL back... today 'jar of the day' has been the sensi star x leb'n'cheese, and it's potency is on par with the others... i think the curing proccess is also important for potency, as i can remember from starting growing, having umm'd and ah'd about potency during the early stages of drying/curing with other strains... some of which stayed 'um' while others progressed famously to 'aahhh'

Hey Zed, good to see yer man! Good luck with those greenhouse seeds...gotta be honest tho and say that i don't hear many good things about greenhouse. I hear also that Paradise seeds do a really good fem's seed. I remember one of my first strains was Isis from Dutch Passion...man they hermed everwhere..and the seeds were like £80!! We will have to spk again soon

zed--- iv grown greenhouse great white shark-white widow fem and paradise sensi star jacky white and sputnic---and fem hollands hope---the greenhouse seeds as well as the paradise seeds performed well good germ rate all round--i think the flying dutchman could be wrong hollands hope wear the only ones that wear poor from start to finish---a friend bought white rino from the greenhouse lot when they had a bad germ rate batch 2 out of ten popt---but he found a killer in them 2 and is still growing it 2 years on---i dident notice the diffrence at all in the sensi star fem and the sensi star normale done them side by side i had no hermi probs with any apart from the hollands hope--but iv allso had a few shite hollads hope regular---as for nocking seed companys some deserve it some some dont---but iv not heard much complaints from some of the more experienced growers---but some have---id love to feminze my akww some day---just need a little more experience lol---

here's a description of this years lebanese cheese grow. i wrote it in a pm and it was pretty concise and describes all the phenos and the yield...

the lebanese cheese, or leb'n'cheese is esben's leb27 pollenating the uk 'exodus' cheese clone. it was originally done by a guy here (hey guy!) and he sent me 10. i did a f2 project last season (2008) with one selected male leb'n'cheese on 3 LC females. the initial male i had selected was earliest, but i left the other males in, just to make sure, and, lo and behold, on of them had a WAY better structure and flower production. it was a little later to flower, but i thought the good elements were worth sacrificing some earliness. the same male germinated one uk cheese x danish passion female, 2 biddy sister ladies and a sensi star cutting, but i got very few seeds from the last 2.

i grew the lebanese cheese f2's almost exclusively this year. the latest pheno was well done by mid october. it gave various pheno's, most of which were good. it went from a 'tar' flavour through tropical mango to catpiss skunk and even a sweet pheno! the trouble pheno was the 'red tropical'. it's the weakest pheno, smoke wise, and had terrible mould problems. i would identify it by the red leaf stems. good bud production, though, and a strange fruity flavour... got about 80g from one plant, grown in pots in the back garden in london...

the rest of the pheno's were happilly mould free and some were truly standout. the catpiss skunk pheno yielded over 180g grown in a friends garden. it was grown in the ground, and tied down to about 1.8m, with a perfect southern exposure. the buds were beauty's... fat, huge pistils, solid, STINKY, dripping in resin... it was truly unfortunate to harvest it end september. i reckon another 2 weeks and that plant would have been perfect, but his mother was coming!! shame... still beautiful ganja, though. cheese dom, i think and potent!

purple tar pheno: tar type flavour, wonderful warm buzz. the buds are 'airy' but the yield is good. i got 50g from a plant in a pot. leb dom, with an amazing flavour.

'babe' pheno: sweet fruity smell, the best trichome production of them all... real beauty. it yielded 25g, but i put in the same pot as the tar phen, and i think the tar pheno showed bit more vigour and took over. if it had it's own pot i think i would have yielded way more. it DID produce the biggest bud of any plant with a solid 4g. cheese dom with leb showing.

i've just finished a light trim on the last pheno i called 'stinky' due to it's veg odour... really skunky... it's probably around 2oz and has a fruity flavour. i think it's the closest to a 50/50 cheese/leb i grew... strong enough, too

glad you liked the lebcheese, dude there are some AWESOME pheno's, but even the 'standard' ones are good.

If you have lots of airy resiny pop corn buds and you feel that turning them into hash is sacrilege, have a go at making a herb puck...

that puck in the picture weighs 8.2g, fits into a tobacco tin happily without contaminating your tobacco, smells divine when pulled apart, good for stealth storage, festivals etc.

fill up female tube with dry cured small buds,
insert both male end caps,
place in warm (not hot) oven for 5 minutes,
press under weight over night,
store in a dry container, next to some sweet hash, in a wooden box is a happy place.

nice idea harold--ill try that out-----lol wot--i know the feeling---the leb has a big effect on my eyes---u know the stoned look----but is a pleasent happy buzz----im glad its not just me going in and out of dimensions---also couses me to forget mid sentence what i was on about--your right every one should have her in there amoury---and its so easy to grow stick it in ground come back early oct----smaller bud but still bang---zed might be surprized on how good it is---well this perticuler one----its that one in a thousand i beleave any way a least outdoor garden or gorrilla its a life saver---shes a lot stronger wot grown indoors---its a harsh smoke is all i can fault it on---not tryed the black widow yet might have a go with it next seasone the great white shark done ok outdoor last year but not to strong good enough---stay safe all
