and I said "I'd like to try some"...
so today the guy come by with a little nug of bubba and it is very nice looking,, smelling and smoking.
I'm like "wow,this is nice" .
He says "you still want a clone?"
I had forgot about asking for one
I say "yes,would love one"
he says "my partener says he'll give you one = and you give him 3oz of the finished Bubba!......is that Ok??

how bad do you want the clone? thats upto you, depending on what else you have, and since this one cut has the potential to make easily make many thousands of dollars....

This is commonly done, goes all the way back to the bible...if your not willing to give back something special I wouldnt mess wich ya at all, 3 oz is a bit much tho.

But my friend kicks down a zip back to me every harvest, but I didnt even ask, thats when you know you have a true friend/partner.

which clone are you talking about? cause the katsu cut is not very light green. the leaves are very dark green in fact. the nugs bling like nothing else. should be very dense round nugs. purples if it doesn't get enough P in flowering.

as far as 3 oz. goes. if you take that clone and turn it into 50 clones in 2-3 months and pull a few lbs of bubba kush 5 months after getting the cut, 3 oz. seems fair. if you're just growing a bit for yourself I'd say 1/2-1 oz. is acceptable.

its looks pretty special compared to other strains.

There are 2 cuts I can always tell even when hidden in a tray of other cuts, thats blueberry and bubba kush

I agree. but you still didn't answer which one. cause like I said. The katsu bubba cut is not light green, even when "alive and a new cutting"

how is the new clone gonna be light green when the mom has very dark green leaves? again, we could be talking about different clones. but my katsu bubba has never had light green leaves in any growing environment.
