S.S- Heres the rundown... I only have this cfl at the moment, until (which is very soon) i purchas a 600W Hps ballast to power this station up. So at this time im tring to keep the height down and let the bushes grow at a steady pace with more lower internodes getting wider rather than taller. So yes my friend it is to do both but not really for the canopy, they are still very very young ladies and i shall call it a 1/4 canopy lol.

By the way, the paper clips are working great and when the plants get bigger, they are sturdy enough to handle a fast growing marijuana female plant. Thank you for comming back and please stop by soon again. Have a great night, or day depending on location..

Video Comming soon

Here is a little update for all in tune...

The plants are ready for the first real dose of nutes (which will be given tommorrow sometime). The smell comming off the plants is heavenly, i missed it sooo sooo sooo much. The fresh garden w/ a hint of dead skunk (RIP SKUNKY)... Everything is running smoothly (knock on wood).. I shall be ordering my light in the next two days and ill deff let you all know how it is and how installation went.

Tallest Plant - 4.3 In
Shortest Plant - 3 In (even)
Avg Temp/Humidity - 75 / 55%
Watering - Every other day, Nutes begin tommorow
Lighting - 18-6 (Plants are 25 days old) will put 12/12 when 600W gets in
Nutes - Root Juice, Aged old organics, FloraBlend, FloraNectar, Bio Grow/BLoom (Flowering, and finally a nice touch of bat guano at the bottom to really hype the flowering stage.

Thats all i got for now. Plus these pics, want to know anything.... Just ask my friends?

E.C. you have a solid line up of nutrients, I've never used those brands before, but let us know how they work out.

Unfortunately for me, I'll be using whatever's out in the shed. This includes Alaskan fish emulsion, blood meal, bone meal, and miracle grow (i know i know...) Hey I'm on a budget, recent layoff and no work to be found.

If you like I can grab a couple pics of my cab and girls and post them in here.

Hope your turkeys, buds, and ladies tata's are big fat and juicy. Have a good Thanks giving.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL MY FELLOW GROWERS/SMOKERS/ICMAG FRIENDS...

First off the plants are doin wonderfully, i mean they are growing extremely tight (internodes) and look very healthy for being under the cfl and only the cfl all this time. The growth was tremendous from the first day of feeding. Before i go any further here are my pics to describe my thoughts. Tell me what you think. Enjoy your day of grubbing, watching the games, spending the day with loved ones or just puffin a nice fat joint/blunt down. Much love my bubs:joint:

Here is a nice update for you all. Just got done eating thanksgiving dinner and yes, it was exactly what i have been waiting for. DELICIOUS!!!

I restarted LST with MASONRY LINE, works 100% better than the paper clips, as i said, nothing wrong with the clips but it deff. cant do the job of a masonry line.

I have a video uploading at the moment that was taken @ 5:45pm today and shows the start of LST.. Follow the diary and the video my friends as they are both up to day and both run side by side and its basically, words (here) and Video (there)... Will put up the link in a bit...

To keep it stationary, here are some pics, enjoy .

What's up EC, plants lookin good. You thought about covering up your clear 2 liter bottles? The light touching the roots isn't good for them, it can cause root rot.

As promised here are the photos.

Flowering Chamber with dual 150w bulbs in a home made cool tube, setup vertical style.

From the top left, haze x skunk, skunk #1, bag seed, and the bottom row are all bag seed.

very nice friend. Are you gonna train at all... I see the limited space for you and that was the first thing that popped in my mind. And as for the clear bottles, thank you. They are mostly covered but imma be taping paper over them just make sure... Enjoy the day

I'm not really interested in training them. Hopefully I can grab a good mother out of the skunk plant and have a nice collection of clones to run through this cab. My plan is to run a couple rows of plants on the vertical setup. Minimal veg time, and maximise the yield. Have you looked into vertical growing? That's how people are really maximising yield.

Im happy with what i do... i get abouty 1.7 grams per watt and im very very happy with that. I was just saying with your growing space (which doesnt seem that deep/wide, i thought it would be better with training or at least one pull down of a plant. It looks like "to me".... your plants are way too heated up. They look shriveled and need some fans or humidity to cool them down at least 5 degrees... Im not saying anything about how you grow or your decisions. but i hate to see plants with MAJOR heat stress. I had this happen to me many times before and i KNOW what it looks like. It can turn 20 deff. females into 2 and no real productive output. Good luck with everything and as i said, just keep the heat off of them or pick your bulb up a little bit.

Thanks for the good tips, I had them under the cfls and the progress sort of halted, after I threw them in the flower chamber they really took off, but now I'm seeing the leaves curling down and the tips getting burned. Another issue I'm having is the RH stays very low, around 20%. So it's like a desert in there. I tried misting with a water bottle but it didn't help. I suppose I'll throw the humidity domes back on until they get a little stronger. Criticism is greatly appreciated.

Your grow looks great, If I were pulling 1.7 gpw, I wouldn't change a thing either.

All the best,
SS

yes i use to have that problem myself, its mostly a ventilation issue, thats why i just purchased a 600W Air coolable system to drag out the heat and keep the nice cool weather in.... Best of luck friend and pics up soon
