its a tough one but...

fuck all that money motivation, its just a plant.
i see enough "grubby paws" from people looking to profit (more than i think is necessary) from MMJ
and big corps will be the same...
i'll still grow my own
nothing will change :)
i'll just tell all my friends
and share

Legalization isn't going to happen any time soon, either.
Why not go for broke since we are fantasizing?

I can agree with that.

Yes nothing will change for you except you won't go to jail.

The government holds the power to make this legal anyway they wish. Government and corporations go hand in hand. I still think it's going to be somewhat similar to the wine industry. There are lot's of small independent wine makers out there making a nice little living. Adapt and survive.

What is it going to take for people to see that it is legalized in California already? The more astute people from our community are paying attention to how legalization is working and was legalized here in California. Maybe I should step up the game and make California Cannabis products availible to every address in California....

I agree that you have defacto MJ legalization in Cali. We need it for the rest of the country ASAP. Defacto legalization is going to be around for a while before MJ is going to be able to be sold and marketed recreationaly IMO. The medicinal movement is the pretext from which full on legalization will occur. I really see this industry morphing into a monster in the next couple of decades. It is so large as it is right now, what happens when the stigma has completely eroded and we are the mainstream? Each year that goes by the conversation is getting louder and louder. Once 50% of states have some sort of medicinal program in place our voice will be deafening.

I'm going to wager that the Fed's will put some sort of federal medicinal program in place first before full on legalization. I think a lot of that is going to depend on Mexico's stability and the war zone that prohibition has created in the southern US and Mexico. It's certainly going to happen. We are getting far beyond the point of no return and there are too many variables working for us instead of against us like in the 70's. It's undoubtedly inevitable at this point. Navigating through the grey market into the legal commodity economy is going to be treacherous, but rewarding if you can keep on top of the game.

You obviously dont know all the hard work it takes to susstain a large co-op. I can understand why it costs so much. Farming is ALOT of work, and takes alot of time and money to make happen.

Yes, I do think it should be legal.... and not just for medical use. I think it should be treated just like alcohol is. IMO, cannabis is far better than alcohol, on so many levels.

Hell yes I want it to be legalized. And to all the people worried about big corporations and the gov taking all the market share, think of the beer industry.

You have Anheuser-Busch and Miller-Coors, and then a bunch of small independent breweries demand has been growing recently for. Who's to say that ALL the small growers will be wiped out if marijuana is legalized? Sure, some growers will be put out of business, but not everyone. Big companies will be able to produce 100% AAA dank bud? Unlikely.

Just as there's $12 6-pks craft brews and organic fruits 'n veggies there'll be a market for organic AAA marijuana (or whatever have you). And then there will be all the people who grow their own, just as there's people who buy veggies in the supermarket and those who grow their own.

..these people like the fact that they pull in over 100k a year for tending a garden. the work you put into it in 1 year is more than likely less work a normal person does in a month. ...

If a tender is pulling in 100k anual, it's NO small task or garden, and he/she basically lives there to keep up....less than a "normal person"

If we bash anybody for disproportionate pay, lets look at the people who really do nothing and rob people/companies/governments blind, i.e. CEO's, military contractors...

IP addresses of the people who want MJ to stay illigal on this thread

AND

if it were legal you could turn your garden into a MJ plot and smoke your own. not forced to buy the factory stuff but since you have no brains the factory stuff would likely be better than yours anyway.

so in your mind its ok to want MJ to stay illegal? and those people who think that this plant deserves harsh punishments must now be spared from the punishments that they themselves think is deserved? bullshit man.

if you think that weed should be illegal but you have partaken in it in any way then stand up for what you believe, be a real man and turn yourself in to the authorities.
