This baby is going to be my new clone room.

Dual built-in fans and lots of metal holes combined with a brushed steel interior. This should do nicely with 100 W worth of floros.

Peace everyone

Sweeet case funkervogt! Those babies will love it there.. I was thinking of growing a easy-ryder, what do you think?

I've been having heat issues lately till I discovered that my 120 mm Delta scrubber wasn't letting ANY air through.UGH I took off the scrubber and now everything is great..A steady 77 with 135 watts is pretty darn good if I say so myself.Whew.. I think I packed it down toooo much. I'll redo it tomorrow too

even better news is that she has come above ground today!! I'll post pics tomorrow. I was wondering why it was so darn dry in my pc then discovered I had to take the plastic wrap off the planter to let some of the moisture from the soil mingle around..Its 35 humidity compared to 9 before..still have to figure out how to set up something to bring humidity up a notch or 2...as soon as I did, the plant poked its little head up!

here are a couple of pics..the seed is above ground( you can just see it) so not bad for only germing 1 seed
temps are great but need more humidity..any suggestions!:1help:
so its on its way I hope!

Look forward to any feedback...Thanks everyone

i also want to know if I should slap in another light? Temps are pretty low..As it is right now, there is 135 watts with 9000 lumens
Thanks again

Congrats dude. What will you do if it's a male? Or is it femmed seed? I've never tried this but perhaps an airstone in a cup of water to raise humidity.

Thanks Scrub! Its a fem seed

have you ever had problems with humidity?..What I have figured out you live in Australia so the humidity must get crazy.
I even put a wet (very wet) cloth and it dried completely in 2 hours.UGHI'll have to try your idea or maybe get a humidifier..keep you posted

We have ridiculous humidity here but never had a problem concerning growing weed. I've found it's helpful for cuttings and vegging. My current cab was dry as hell, I couldn't get humidity up for my cuttings/seedlings. I wound up putting a large flat tray of water under the slide-out tray, then a wire rack thing with microfibre cloth strung over the rack, but dipped in the water, and the cloth was over the intakes and it wicked up. It worked better than anything else I tried but still a bit crap, and dried out quickly. It let me put about a half to a gallon of water into the cab's air every week though.

hey Scrub...thanks again..in the summer here(Canada) where I live, the humidity gets relly high..but winters...UGh..its so dry in my house...
I'll try a sponge in a small tupperware tub with water to see if that works..if not, I don't know what to do

Question for ya..
Do you think I filled that big scrubber too much?
the thing is, it worked great for a few days then it seemed to push the carbon tight so maybe I did'nt fill it enough..can you help?Or anyone for that matter
thanks everyone..I know I'm new to this micro grow stuff but I really enjoy it and one day I can give back to all of you or anyone else

BC it's strange because I could swear my purchased filter lost a bit of flow too after a bit of use. I think your problem is that there's not enough surface area and too thick of a layer. Since you can't raise the surface area more than you have (I'm hoping you drilled the shit out of the base part as re-suggested) I would look at getting the layer thinner. What if you got coarse aquarium filter foam and glued or sewed up a perfectly shaped sock that fits snugly over the inner pencil holder. The foam will reduce the thickness of the carbon, and not be so restrictive, and also act as a prefilter.

There's no way around getting the carbon tight though. You absolutely want it to be tightly packed, it'll settle otherwise. The only way around that is to follow the same principle as the carbon screen that I use - mine can only settle upon itself so doesn't need to be tightly packed.

Hope it helps. :smoker:

It wouldnt hurt. but for right now I'd leave it that far away. Maybe when it grows a little taller and stronger you should put the plant closer to the lights.

But remember that when you do get it closer to the heat source the soil will dry up faster.

You girl and cab are looking great BC chronic!

Looks good. I'd leave the planter at that height until the seedlings get bigger.

Thanks Mk3jetta..I see you are part of the 70wHPS club...After this grow, i want to build something a little bigger for stronger lights..I'll see what these cfl's do for now

Thanks blynx..your grows are amazing..as you can see, I used a big plastic shoe bin for a planter this time but I want to try a few smaller planters for more plants..i'll be asking you a few questions when that time comes!

Hey everyone.. Just thought I'd show how the little lady is doing.

I put more lights in cause the cab is just running awesome! There is 6 cfl's(different watts and spectrums) totalling 161 watts and , as you can see, temps have'nt gotten ANY higher than 77 degrees..Not bad huh? I probably could put all 30-43 watt bulbs which would raise heat a little more but I'll let it be for now...Any suggestions?

so there is 10600 lumens for 1.35 square feet..
Hope this baby fills it up!
I put a plastic bowl with a very wet cloth in for humidity so its at 33 percent now.
Ordered fox farm Tiger Bloom for budding but for now there is enough nutrients for at least 2 weeks..
Its day 5 for the plant..looks pretty green and happy
I'm finishing the 120mm scrubber today so I can put it back in

hope to get some feedback
Thanks and have a great day

Owe it all to all of you out there

Things are looking good here BC Chronic. I'd leave the planter where it's at. Your seedling seems to be loving its home!

here's a pic from day 7..
it seems to be happy..I did soak the planter before i put the seed in and have just lightly watered it when it seems dry..don't want to make the mistake of over watering
Anyone know of any good organic bloow feed?
i see Tiger bloom is good but, alas, this town has nothing but Miracle grow
thanks everyone
