I think foxtailing can be induced. I do not grow a lot of strains but I can make what I do have do it. Put about 120ppm of P. nitrate in your rez the last 3 weeks. JK

Black Cherry, finished. Nectarine cherry perfume. I have had several friends claim to have received sexual favors for bringing her to the party. No joke. She's probably at the top of my head stash for being the absolutely best smelling strain I have ever encountered with the most socially active high of any strain I believe to be available. She is a meager producer at best, but ohhh how she puts out. heheh

I know a guy who showed me side-by-side of 2 identical Sour Diesel plants and the one he treated with "Shooting powder" or that "super bloom" powder in the last weeks of flower caused the foxtailing at the tips of the nugs. After finding that out, we tend to ditch the powder now and not add it at all (Super High Potassium/Phosphorous PPM?), because we found the buds without it more compact and nicer overall just flushing them in the end..Just my experience, I agree with JK

Damn Humble you might be right,I would do a woman if she brought that over. I took my laptop in to show my girls what a pretty plant is supposed to look like.lol Maybe they will work a little harder for me.
MD I think that shooting powder are enzymes not salts, but I am not sure. JK

Yeah your right,my ole lady just saw your pics and she said she would do a woman if she brought that over and she is redneck straight.

Sub, In post 96 is that your tahoe?

Yeah I meant 4396? I was looking at the hairs which reminded me of the tahoe but the structure seemed more round, I showed a pic of the tahoe to a friend as we were talking about what to do with the 30 beans I have. I remember him telling me he did not care for the looks because of all the red hair. I thought he was crazy.
What I smoked of yours tasted exactly like some herb I had from Canada. Then I read a description of the flavor from zoo. I was wondering if it might have been because you used sweetleaf. I had a soapy floral taste that coated my mouth for a while. No fuel at all. JK

GS does your sdx taste like the cuts you gave to your friends. What I smoked of yours tasted exactly like some herb I had from Canada. Then I read a description of the flavor from zoo. thats the first i have heard of soapy. very curious...
i dont run sweetleaf i prefer regular plain sweet. i am trying out a gallon of humboldt honey es i got for 30. shit is thick, and it doesnt like airstones... total mix and use. and definately not for recirc/hydro...

as far as taste goes, to me, its more of a lemony flavor that i think smells and tastes kinda like the old og i used to get back in the day (which i think is valley).

Some outdoor purps version of grape ape, it has a very unique rich lavender smell and the taste comes out exactly like it smells, I've been treating her very bad and she's doing very good :dueling: :joint:

heheh.... nothing gets those girls working harder than a little envy. She straight kicked the lavender off my tables.

Shooting powder- I'm pretty sure the shooting powder is just good old p2o5 with some added magnesium nitrate and possibly an amino or two. I ran side by sides and showed no weight gain or significant improvement in development. Shit is crazy expensive too.what a waste.

imho, Foxtailing is characteristic of sativas. It does carry over to all these indica hybrids we are working with and can be influenced by heat and light cycle interruptions.

dang that was a lot of reading, i figured i'd check in and see if anyone had any similar problems with any pnc cuts that i had...i just finished 200 pages and im glad its in time for second 4:20. haha i feel like i know some of you personally i've been reading so much. hopefully i'll post some pics to pay my dues i been messing around with cali connect beans and crossing them to my tried and true verified clone only mommas lately, the seeds are almost done so that might be an interesting thread. I dont want to step on swerves toes and i am super thankful for the male/s his beans provided me with. I got a couple bubba cuts among other things and hopefully i'll be popping a couple of those crosses when they dry but i gotta keep my mom's alive and stay in our limits. I've been lurking on the internet for a while but i dont post out of extreme paranoia which I have since deemed irrationall because both my girl and I are very sick and very legal. one thing i wanted to mention when i was reading the thread that i didnt see was for thrips and mites and other bugs the best thing to do is let lady bugs eat the ones that are on your plants then put canola oil in a spray bottle and hit the top layer of the soil/coco to suffocate the eggs. works so good and you dont gotta worry about tainting your meds with anything other than lady bug poop plus its pretty cheap, you can just kill the eggs and the live ones will die off if you dont want to mess with lady bugs.
