Most commercial hash is pressed, has been for centuries. Why not now?

because pressing hash destroys trichome heads. the only reason it is pressed is so that it can be transported in large quantities easier and many will put addidtives (sheepshit, incense, soap, etc...) into the hash to make more money. but i would never press head stash hash, but to each their own..... just please dont call pucks "cali style" because thats definatly not what we do with hash out here...--BhT

didn't know that... so when u use the bags, do u chopt up the resin on top of the drying screen and just let it dry and use as u do kif??

To each his own, I kept some of it powdered.
I just made the pucks to give away to people.
Nice & easy, pre-measured.
So far they all love them, no complaints.

P.S. Actually it was making hash w/washing machine that I called "Cali style". The pucks are "doublejj style"!

double...looks great! Since you have the killer setup, you should get a 8 or 9 bag kit that is made for pot. You get the correct microns and you separate the the good stuff from the bad. I guarantee you will get better results and better hash!

I have 6ea 5'tall Kush plants out in my greenhouse that just aren't flowering well. Lot's of frosty leaves but no good bud development!

Looks like they are destined to meet ACE & The Doper! More bubble Hash!

There will be pounds & pounds of frosty hash making's. Keep your eye's out for the next load! Should be just a few weeks! Maybe I'll try quarter pucks this time! LOL!

Yo doublejj.....What kind of mesh bag are you putting the trim in before it goes into the washing machine? What is your ice to water ratio..50%-50%? I was about to buy a 30 gal bubble kit this week.but it looks like I will be headed to home depot for a washer instead.

Yeah 50/50 ice/water sounds about right. I tried to use as little water as possible.

What would I enter in the "search" field on the craigs list web page? Where else could I locate a 200 micron bag from? I am not sure what people use micron screen bags for other than making hash, so I am not really sure where to look to buy those. Thanks

I didn't start this thread to push any particular brand of bubble bags. I believe this technique would work with most brands of bubble bags.

I bought these because they are local & I wanted 100% mesh bags for faster draining. These worked very well for me. Great Co. to deal with.
