I decided to keep the male around in hopes of him "sending vibes" to the other plants to make them female. I have no scientific evidence, but I feel it helps.

The first to sex are always the boys it seems. I am betting all the boys would show at the same time.

The plants sure have a healthy glow!

Thanks Lola. These plants do look beautiful. My Deep Chunks were...now one of em has a pair of burnt tips lol. Oh well, nature of the beast.


The other one will probably be flipped on Nov. 23rd and going into a 3gal. pot.

The ex-runt still has not grown out its full set of sacs so for the moment its chilling with the other one, which I am proud to say is a female!! the female was repotted and fed with jamaican bat guano. Pics to come soon!

Update!

I'm so happy that this one was a girl!! The pistils are barely there, but I see em! We culled the apparent hermie. I was going to keep it, because it stopped growing out random balls, but I figured I didn't want it pollinating everything and making more of itself.

The female is looking real good. We played a little game of bondage over the weekend. She's still tied up.

I repotted her after hearing the good news, into a 3 gal pot. I also fed her some Jamaican bat guano, like the Deep Chunks and the PPP next to her. She was immediately put under a 150 HPS, which has some extra light coming from the 250 next to it. The light is about 10-12" away from her. I'm gonna pull up the lights again in 2-3 days.

And I almost forgot...I even gave her a new friend. Call him Earthworm Joe. He's working overtime to make sure Ms. NCDG is happy for the next several weeks. Worked for my Mandala #1 in keeping her lush and green. We'll see this time around.

It's kinda weird, she's got really thin, long pistils. Slowly recovering from too low pH, but she's getting there. Only being fed molasses with water.

BTW she smells like grapefruit. Would have been fun if she smelled like pineapple...that's the pheno I want.

Here she is, after growing out lots more pistils she is getting a little bigger everyday. She smells like straight up grapefruit and the calyxes are getting covered with resin.

They just kinda gravitate towards the plants. It's cold outside so they're probably squatting in order to get warm under the lights.

i bet if i went up to the high mountains right now there would be thousands of them! sometimes you come across them above 8000 feet in huge groups this time of year

Really? Where I live you won't find them outside lol..There's like a foot of snow on the ground. I would send you some, but the numbers are getting low...They fly too close to the bulbs and burn themselves
