it is a sad time for my heart, friends. Monday night my little cat Oscar didn't come back inside from roamin the block. I searched a couple hours throughout the night but couldn't find him. tuesday morning i saw him by the side of the road. he'd been hit by a car and killed in the night.

i took him inside, cleaned him up, said my goodbyes (damn *shakes head) and put him in one of my old pillowcases (at night if i put my arm up by my head he would come curl up on my arm). then I buried him in my back yard, where it will make me remember him the most. i knew i would have to deal with this eventually. i tried keeping him inside, but he wouldn't have it. would howl and howl by the door. nope, he just had to roam, he had too much freedom trapped inside. he will be missed always.

Rest In Peace lil buddy. good Oscar-cat. good boy.

I've lost so many of my little buddies over the years and although I knew my time with them wasn't going to last forever, I somehow never managed to be prepared for when the time actually came to say goodbye. I solute your little soldier. He will be missed.

Aww man... lost my cat of 16 years earlier this year. He had slowed way down and we kind of saw it coming, but it was still awful. Can't imagine how that felt to find your little guy like that.

They are the best portable CO2 generators money can buy.

Really interested in seeing that Bubba X DC. I've had my eye on that strain for a few weeks now.

still waiting on the deep chunk strains, but in the meantime in rolls bagseed to the rescue. this came from a friend whom i told to hang onto them. but he also smokes a little mexican brick from time to time and said "I might have dumped a few in there." lol there was a ton of seeds, so i'm thinking my chances are 50/50. either i have viper x trainwreck beans (in my wildest dreams) or ditch weed. fingers crossed.

thanks for all the support regarding oscar. still sucks wihtout my lil buddy runnin around the place, but we are moving on. it really helps to hear kind words from friends. much obliged.

i reworked some ducting so my output isn't blowing up under the floor. realized the moisture would harm my kitchen floor, so i took the air somewhere it won't do damage (and won't be noticed).

can't wait for the good genes... thanks for the patience, can't wait to get her rollin.

Hey K, haven't checked in in a while, but I wanted to give my condolences regarding your cat. It really hurts to lose a family member. Animals become very important in peoples' lives and I'm truly sorry for your loss.

ok everyone, we are getting closer to some action. lol i have beans in the dirt. as stated, these are not my mail-order seeds (hopefully any day now, but i'm starting to wonder...) - they could be nasty ditch weed. either way we'll see. if they all hermie within a few weeks of bloom i guess it will have been a waste but at this point it is worth a shot.

Kaleel I'm sorry to hear about losing your buddy.. mine won't stay in the house either but he's too afraid of cars to hang out on the road, and he seems to have some street sense. I have become pretty attached to my little mouser.. and have gone through the loss of a pet many times before. I hope you can find it in your heart to adopt another from the animal shelter - I'm sure Oscar would want you to!

On a different note, I can't see a bunch of your pictures, are some of your albums set to private or is it my browser having trouble loading them??
