Are you asking if putting one bulb inside the other is efficient? Nope it's not.

All looks great man. Not sure about the dwc thing. The container is meant to be light proof though, so my inexperienced guess is algae or something. Dumb question perhaps but has he tried dumping the water and scrubbing everything out?

Well he hopes, that the plant will reveg someday. He trimed the dead leafs and some dead roots. We'll see what will happen. Are t5's good for mixing the specter in my box ? Because I dont know nothing about fluorescent lamps.

T5s will do it, but you may as well use cfls? You just need different ones (warm white, soft white, etc). I threw a daylight cfl in with the 4000k regular lights this grow and it helped contain the stretch it seems. Last grow I cycled some 5000k and 6500k bulbs around during flower and seemed to get pretty frosty buds.

The tube fluoros come into their own if you really want to get experimental - I bought a dual t8 and some freaky aquarium bulbs. One is 10,000k and the other is something like that, and you just can't get a 10,000k cfl as far as I'm aware.

Captain, we have problem here !
So I think it's nuteburn, should I flush the plants or do something else ? It showed up 2 days ago, when I used a little bit more nutrients than before.

Yeah man it looks like burn to me. They're in soil right? I'm not too sure what you do there but I am guessing you would flush it yes. Obviously don't give em anymore food for a while... I hope someone can offer some more detailed help. It looks pretty minor though.

So we moved to a new place

But it's could out there. The fan is too strong. When lamps are on it's only 18C :wallbash: Will that hurt my plants ? At "night time" it's 16C because the room where is the cab is only 16C.
They are 2 months old with few days now.

if two cold plants will grow a bit wispy my grow room has never gotten below 18 c i thought that was pretty cool. but im not exactly sure it will hurt them either i think it would depend on strain a little

Do you run lights through the night? (our night) that way the temps will work out better - Warmer ambient temp at lights off. Does the light trap work? It looks curved. The plants are looking wicked, man.

Low temps like that won't damage plants, but it makes them grow very slow (ATP in the Calvin cycle is used as energy instead of growth).
Besides that it's looking good!

Thanks guys !
I'm running the light's at "our" night time from 7pm till 1am. I will switch to 12/12 in a week, when they will grow in to the new soil.
The light trap works, and yeah it's curved, but that doesn't affect anything. The strain's are Nemesis and Power Africa. Both from seedsman.com.
I wrote to the fan's manufacturers and they told me to get the speed controller if I want to reduce the speed of the fan. That may help to rise the temp in a "daytime" a bit.

Hello, just a little update.
Everything's going fine, i still can't find the time to make the muffler, but the sound don't bother me, because the box is in another room.
Here's how the ladies look now.
These pictures are older :

These are the newest pictures. 16 days in flowering :

I can keep the lights very close to the plant's because the fan is very strong and the temperature is still around 22 at top's. Sorry for the pictures quality.
