Hmm those panama x deep chunk buds look so tasty raco this cross produces some of the best weed i know... and yeah it's really smelly and stinky - like everything with dc in it i tried till now... i for one am deeply impressed by the deep chunk, the first afghan genetics i consider worth working with myself ( i tried many afghan based, dutch hybrids but don't like the taste of those)

as for this whole discussion, yeah DH is allowed to post his opinion, but if he doesn't explain it - it's just bashing and badmouthing...

so far i see that in his first post he speaks about a cross he grew from clone, but also about a 2-3 year hunt... then there are pure dc seeds mentioned which he traided with a friend - and within that the talk is about 2 females...

now when people ask what's up with that, what he grew now and how many he tells them to learn to read... well i can read and i too can't see which seeds exactly he grew and how many of them... now when it's just about an opinion there should be no problem in telling us how many pure dcs DH grew and where he got the seeds from... but for me this thread somehow more smells like stirred shit...

anyways i'll add my little humble opinion: DC is by far the best afghan genetics i ever had the pleasure to smoke

mad respect for everybody who works seriously on keeping such special genetics alive so that they will be available for future generations and mybe our children will aslo still be able to smoke real cannabis not only the newest selfed ajrans haze clone # 523 keep up the good work

the blueberry faird better but i was denied the first pack from sbay(won and paidfor) claiming poor germ rates....so 5 or so months later they send out a pack.

so im left with 3 seedling at a cost to me of 70$ each boy im going to be pissed when they sex out.

i got them from oaksterdam nursery dc x sc but they look just like all the DC pics. i even traded a friend for the straight DC. its a quick finisher, moderate yield.

I would completely disagree, Deep Chunk is great smoke.
Tom is a master at growing and breeding, he pulled 8 pounds of one of his haze plants..
still leaves me with my jaw dropped!

well my plants looked like Benji's for sure...very leafy, extreme broad leaf, dense dense nature during vegetation with very little stretch...mine weren't so colorful but had quite the frost on the leaves making excellent brownies...the Heri was much more Afghani in structure but with the look you are use to seeing which was big gold nugs with an extremely red hair finish and immense trich production...both had trich production through the roof but the DC was very leafy while the Heri was more bud calyxes...i don't have pics but honestly i think that both are good indica's, i just think there are some better out their like Nirvana Aurora Indica which is very cheap, high yielding and very narcotic and strong but i would probably not use the AI in breeding...the Heri i would go crazy with

Can't speak on Deepchunk, but the dcxsc from oaksterdam was garbage. Ran it last year, and it was shit!!! I mean it's a pretty plant, but the smoke was garbage with lil kick. I'm sure tom hills is a lot nicer though...

I feel digital happy..If he doesn't like it, WHO CARES...It's his opinion, and that's it. He never bashed Tom Hill or anything...

most of the mudslinging in here is down to the fact that the title and OP was edited but no indication was given that it had been edited, which made the first couple of pages look like over-reaction because they were reacting to the fact that the OP said Tom Hills deep chunk was dissapointing when he had grown out a cross and not the real thing.

sounds like you need to dial the strain in and grow it better. DC is actually really good. So is the DC x SC. I saw others grow it. It looked dank as hell.

DC is a very beautiful plant, looks as good as anything else. just not potent. no rank smell. no rank taste.
the dc x sc cross was better.
dc was ok, not bad, id just rather run, oh, chemdog(DD, D, BX), BOG (ANYTHING) widow, DJS BB, black dominia, or fuck, the %30thcsatori these indicas leave me drooling a puddle.
if you finished reading my post, i traded for it from a friend who got it from seed ....like x years ago. FROM SEED
he enjoys it, but only grows a little, he desnt think its potent either!

No one ever said it had a rank taste or smell its all about PHENOS you should know this applies to all strains i have ran many TOP strains and found crap phenos,,,For me DC is all about breeding and dont forget this strain is PURE and untouched 30 years old so dont even compare it to those HYBRIDS you listed above...

And yes you are entiltled to an opinion and it may not be your cup of tea but before starting a thread titled the way you did maybe just try getting it from the original source and grow a pack out before you comment about deepchunk in general the thread title should be "The deep chunk pheno i got was dissapointing" just my ..
