looking great! my purple kush looks just like that!

They sure dont like to high of nutrient levels. I burned the tips ever so slightly with my last bump... still under 1k ppm??? maybe its the bloom enhancer it doesn't like..

Wick the garden looks beautiful, your PK looks like a winner! I hope everything is everything with the family and friends as it obviously is with the PK. I trimmed the hell out of my C99's about 10 days ago as to your pointers and they are doing great, 1/2" stems on 15" tall plants with 4-6 even tops is a beautiful thing. Sleepy - Yeah, I have noticed purple kush would be a much better scroger strain then trees... maybe next round eh!

All in all they are doing awesome i couldn't ask for a more healthy crop, but i see now what my buddy ment by a small yielder.. I guess i was hoping my system would unlock some more potential..
Purple Kush looks great, smells great, im damn sure it will smoke great to.. BUT.. It is no yeilder, that's for sure.. The main buds seem to form nicely and that's it.. no significant blooming overgrowth after wards, they grow very slow in flower. At least not with my tailored nute lineup. I am actually blown away by how small they are,especially since i have had no ph lockout nor ppm problems..... Killer nugs but tiny compared to what i'm used to.
Previous strains i have run in the past would be double the size, maybe triple at this point.... For that reason alone It will only occupy 1 or 2 spots in my arrangment next round...sad reality is i need more yield with less plant count..To bad...
Pk would do much better in a scrog setup where you can harness the potential of all budsites, vs growing a few larger upper budsites..I still have 24ish days left... but i tell you...not impressed with the budsize at this point...tiny killer nugs...Normally FAT stalk = fat bud...not the case with PK.
what is cool is the purple is start'n to show on the larger fan leaf and some of the budsites... so i should get some nice color out of it anyways... Stinky stinky... my carbon filter is NOT keeping up with the "heat" of this strain either....Speaking Heat.. they dont like it at all..... to close to the lights is disaster for an upper budsites..... they just don't recover..
Would i run PK again?? Of course, just not a full system load, to puny......I now see why it's worth 1k more then reg killer.....You need twice the setup to produce an equal amount.. My mind might change when i smoke it...but i doubt it..
That being said I finally calibrated my Tri-meter... 2 years or so .... my PH was OUT by 4 points... ppm was dead on... siting at 1114ppm and 5.9PH
