Nice tomatoes even though I don't eat em, got rid of Flo huh? I just got a Flo x Bubba Kush x Blue Moonshine and I'm getting a DJ Short Blueberry mom to save tomorrow so I'm excited about that! Hows the Grape Skunk doing?

Yeah, the Flo made balls in a sound environment as well as my light-leaky one, and just wasn't quite special enough to put up with that. Mine was a DP fem anyway... maybe I'll get the real deal from DJ sometime and give it another go.

I'm not walking away from DJ's gene pool short-term either, though... I'm about to get up and go to the fridge for beans. Tonight is the night! I'm giving purcellville's BB [Outkastt cut] x F-13 cross a run... I've been looking forward to this one for months now. Wish me luck!

(And the GSK is excellent... I have a bonsai mom about to go into the tent and the CFL clone is coming down in the morning.)

No doubt, RM, no doubt! I'm really... like kid on christmas eve excited about this cross. I promised purce I'd let him know when I ran them, I should really go do that before stonerbrain sets in. I may give them their own thread to that end, but they'll still make an appearance in here as appropriate. Soaking as we speak!

And welcome to the show, VG. :smoke: The pink brandywines weren't my star this season, but they're always one of the best ... there's a reason I do 'em every year. I think I am a yellow-tomato kinda guy, I always end up picking one of those as my favorite every season.

Up-late up-date

Up-late up-date

Hey, that rhymes.

Tonight's update is Grape Skunk, Tsi Fly sisters, the missing Mirre from last night (she's all perked back up after a good drink) and ... new life.

First up, the Grape Skunk. The reason I am having trouble constructing even rudimentary sentences (trust me, this has taken much longer to write than you'd think) is this little bugger. Grape Skunk popcorn, uncured but perfectly dried and delicious:

Here's her twin, which came down this morning at 75 days. Not bad for CFLs? I can't fit my hand around it, and I don't have small hands.

Here's a leaf I thought was pretty:

Mirre 1:

Tsi Fly sisters, both about 10 days from the flip:

And lastly, the BBxF13! After 24 hours in the water 4 of 5 are cracked and showing miniscule tails, so they've gone into a peat/perlite/lime mix. The other one's going to soak until it's caught up, but I think I saw a gap along the seam so it shouldn't be long. It usually takes about 3 days from sowing in dirt until things are up above the surface in my little seed spot. I'm really excited 'bout these!

Tona - You know it man, that Mirre is pure SOG material all the way. My 4 girls matched what KG showed in his test grow exactly. Pretty stable strain, the tall and short phenos plus a rarer long-flowering 3rd. Maybe I still have one of those tucked away, I've still got half my pack. :smoke: (It's probably a sausagefest, what with having found 4 girls already...)

Grace - Thanks. I've only gone through half the strains in my collection, so many nice things lined up for the future. I can't wait. Next month, Sour Lifesaver. :D

And you're welcome any time for spaghetti. There's 8 liters of sauce already in my freezer, and I still have things ripening every day. I'm drowning in the stuff! (That's good, though, because I love to cook and I have sauce for the entire winter now.)

johnny - Welcome to the show mate, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you like my writing... I do feel connected to this plant in a deeper way than just that I like to smoke it's resin. It's good that that comes through.

Hey Core, thanks brother.

That Mirre looks familiar, for sure. That pic looks just like the tall pheno I have, I love consistent crosses. I have one that smells like Jack, and one that smells like grapeberry.

I've tested popcorn nugs off 3 of the 4 so far and yeah, it's great smoke. I think #2 is going to be the winner, it's one of the short phenos and it smells strongly like JackH. Most potent of the 3 I've tried, too, and yieldy! Couldn't be happier.

Now I need some of your gear in here... :smoke:

Update time!

The Tsi Fly is off... the first one went into the tent today and will see darkness for the first time in a couple of hours. Here she is:

The second one is a few days back, hasn't been cloned yet, and needs to put on another inch or so in height before the flip. No problem; there's no space in the tent until Friday anyway. ;)

Some nice shots of the RK with leaves intact - I believe that's a first for this thread. :wallbash: (We'll see how long this lasts, I have her flowers dialed in like crazy for some reason but her foliage still owns me.)

And now, my pride and joy, the Grape Skunk bush... this one will top an oz easily IMO, it's looking pretty damned great. I can't keep her dark green, feeding at full-blast every watering, but I'm doing a damn sight better than I have yet in the tent so I feel OK.

And lastly, I had a whole run of Wonder Haze hanging photos but only one of them came out decently:

Yup, she starts early and doesn't quit til you chop her. Only thing I have with more resin on it... is the Mirre. (Which is still quite in-stock at the 'boo, 3T. 23 packs left.)
