Hey i live in a non medical state tho I am a medical user. I ordered a light from bgh hydro and sum nutes, on the box that held the nutes it said in smaller writing "Better Grow Hydro"... Should I be worried about the fedex man? I watched as he got back in his truck he lit up a cig and drove off nothing suspicious, just the fact the box said "better grow hydro" had me kinda worried... I know its not illegal to order a light and nutes should i be as paranoid as i am or you think its straight? Thanks guys

They generally don't give a rats ass. You are most likely fine. That being said, lesson learned. If you must mail order, make sure they ship discretely ahead of time.

Short answer, don't worry. If that's the only weak link in the security chain, you probably won't have a problem.

Chalk it up to experience and consider not using the folks that advertise on the outside of their boxes. I thought General Hydro was a really cool joint until they shipped me samples with their name emblazoned on every panel of the box. Then the bastards sent me a $0.00 invoice in the mail with, you guessed it, a giant GENERAL HYDROPONICS watermark on the envelope and an address window with "nutrients" clearly visible.

These guys know what you're talking about when you inquire about "discreet" shipping. The ones that do will acknowledge, sometimes describing a plain brown box, etc.

For example, High Tech Garden Supply ships under "HTG Supply" in a plain brown box. Little things like that go a long way to avoid surprises.

As for this guy it has already been said he could give two $%^s about your three boxes.

Even if he did report the cops would take step #2 when acting on a tip. If your power records are double, if your house reeks of growing ganja, if you've got mad foot traffic from dealing out your front door, they'll get a warrant and bust your shit up early morning.

If you are not stupid, doing nothing conspicious, then don't worry even if he reports. Chances very slim it goes anywhere. Don't make the mistake again :)

Man as far as shipping goes I promise you FEDEX is the way to go. I have known a guy who shipped weed in FEDEX not just stuff to grow it lol

FedEx also cooperates with LEO. If you like the idea of hiding a needle in the FedEx haystack, consider the vast hay fields of the USPS.

It's not logistically impractical to run drug dogs up and down lines of parcels that are 100% corralled in and delivered from Memphis Tennessee. I'm sure packages get through but the USPS doesn't delivery from a single origin. Plus they're a zillion times the volume so do the math.

Always take the necessary precautions any way you go.

You're saying every single FedEx package goes through TN? Including overnight air? Even if TN is nowhere near either the source or destination?

One of the first salesmen I worked with explained an overnight delivery from Oakland to San Fran via Memphis TN and went on to say that was the only way to assure guaranteed delivery. Apparently single hub distribution makes combined air traffic most efficient.

I'm pretty sure this is no longer always the case. They route a lot of stuff through Memphis, but not 100%.

http://www.justice.gov/dea/pubs/cngrtest/ct072204.html

Officials from the DEA have already held several meetings with both Federal Express (FedEx) and United Parcel Service (UPS) on this issue and have also visited the FedEx Mail Hub in Memphis, Tennessee to evaluate the processing of international parcels. Both FedEx and UPS continue to support DEA investigations with valuable tracking information on origin and destination of shipments. ....

I know you guys are talkin about supplies. But with anything in general. USPS is really the only safe way to go. Fed ex, ups and all other carrier services ar privately owned and can search you pack when ever they want. When USPS requires a warrant and probable cause before they can open anything. And there are way more packs coming through usps then any private carrier.

But with that said, your fine. They do work with LEO but there not goin to go to that length over some hydro supplies, they ship thousands of hydro supplies to all kinds of people daily and most are not growing what you are. I wouldnt sweat it, but i would send it to a different address next time just to be safe. Or scheduel it for pick up at a location close to you house ad have them email you the shipping recipte so you dont have to show ID to pick it up.

good drown

there is no way every package goes through tn
i have an account, its impossible for that to have happened over the past 6 years, otherwise many of my business packages would not have made it in time. there are about 8-12 hubs nationwide that they go through, and there are leo at each one.

memphis is a big transport hub.. lot's of packages, especially fedex go through there. They have a huge flight line and lot's of air freight goes there. However, shipments from out west to memphis would look suspicious to many... as a lot of drugs go through memphis from the southwest/west.

As far as I know 99% of the fedex and ups dudes blaze anyways, I would'nt be as worried about getting busted as I would getting robbed down the road. Those guys deliver so much shit all day long they seriously could care less about your little light or few boxes. Even if they had a "hunch" you were a grower there still is no real proof or evidence in that itself. People order all kinds of grow stuff from hundreds of companies online for totally legit reasons and indoor vegetable gardening and the like are more popular than ever. I would order some veggie seeds online from a big site or something like that via fedex shipping or some live plants even and the same dude will most likely deliver it and then you can just be "I can finally get my organic veggie garden going now, thanks man". He will remember you got the other shit and that will be the end of it if you really are paranoid about it.

The WORST is General Hydroponics, and all their systems are drop shipped by GH from basically any company you order from even though they act like they have the shit in stock. They even put Hydroponics on the packing tape around it, it's all over the fucking boxes & even says whats in it lol

If you order anything GH like a system or something make sure they are not drop shipping from GH because the shit will say it all with no discreet anything.
