At 63 days. Right before chop.
This plant is from seed. It came from a nug of American Grower's own cross S99. Grown by him and hit with Chem DD pollen.
Chopping was very easy. So little fan leaves that were not COMPLETLY COVERED. Trimming was a snap.
Then they hung...
Then they were jarred...
I have a jar in front of me. I know what time it is, it's been a long coming...
Smell: 7 I crack it. Stuff my face in there. It smells like the fake flower aisle in an arts and crafts store. Lightly floral. Slightly acrid. Undertone of something chemical or rubbery. But surprisingly, looking at these nugs, the odor is not overpowering.
I pick up a bud. Put it under my nose. I smell again, a light floral scent. Smells like decorative eucaliptus leaves that have lost most of thier scent but still have that 'light floral' smell to them up close.
Now I crack the bud. WOW! Fruit cake. With a clear chemically undertone and a rubbery smell as well. It smells potent now...
About a 3 week cure.
Feel: 9 I take a small bud. I begin to break it up. Immediatley I see trichromes fall. Damn it. Calyxes break off whole. It's nice and dry. The stem snaps, but the bud is sticky. It compresses when I squeeze it to break it up. I use my fingernail to easily scrape off calyxes and gland heads. Right down to the small stem in the middle.
Taste: 8 I load the bong. Do the deed. Hold in. On the exhale I go slowly through the nose. My eyes water and it feels like I just ate a chunk of wusabi (green, sushi). Same intense momentary pain as wusabi. Gone quickly. Wow! I taste Kief. Dry Sieve from when I used to kief commercial Canadian nugs (not beasters though, lol) You know it's on there alright. It's got that peppery aftertaste. The smoke smells sweet.
At a Halloween party, a friend who hardly smokes anymore these days was intrested in smoking some of this herb. Upon hitting the bowl, he commented, "This taste like some oldschool pot." A lightbulb (HID) went off. "That's pretty fucking good." I respond. Looking at Nugless (bro) agreeingly.
Yield: 9 This girl yields really well. I vegged a cut of her for 11 days and cut her at 63 days. She yielded about 31 grams dry. Grown in Fox Farm Ocean Forest. PBP Grow for veg. Fox Farm Tiger Bloom. 2 week flush.
Affect: 9 Who can give a 10? I will say I just had to come back and add this part of the smoke report because I forgot and caught it right before posting. I am stoned man. It's a good mix too. I can't move and am glued to this couch with the laptop, but my mind is operating full hilt. And I feel great. Actually, I'm hungry. Nugless (bro)is in fact passed out at this very moment, but that does happen often.

I've been writing this smoke report the entire time I've been smoking and I can see it's going to be a lengtly one. So that's telling me this shit is pretty damn cerebral. I'm not taking those "staring breaks" while writing this. I don't think I've stopped typing, copy/pasting, etc. the whole time. I also feel it "right behind my eyes". If you know what I mean. Like someone's pinching me slightly in between my eyes from inside my head... LOL!
But I am talking one bong rip. And I know from experience that this lady will put you down plain and simple in larger amounts. I love to smoke this at night before bed. Or in smaller amounts in the daytime for a cerebral affect. I have a shitload of Cheese and I find myself having to consciencely not reach for the S99 X Chem DD jar. "Great old-school pot. Light use for good conversation. Fat joint for bedtime sleep aide."
I'm so impressed with this lady, my next grow is going to be 25 of these girls under 600w. I really view this strain as a perfect production strain. Possibly my grial, but that's another story and yet to be determined.
I did pull 3 or 4 male flowers off her in early flower, but never saw another after that. So she has it in her, like all plants IMO, but she's worth it. Just keep an eye on her in early flower and it's all good.

The combination of 31 grams in 63 days with an 11 day veg or 74 days total grow time, easy trimming, amazing (IMO) bag appeal, and a choice of upitty hanging or straight stone make this some "good oldschool pot".
I'm this strain's keeper at the moment, but I do not intend to keep it this way. I need to get some things in order first...

it is C99 x Sour D ibl......ECSD x C99....BX and inbred many times.. she is my pride and joy....by far the biggest head stomping high I have ever smoked...
