Got some bubble bags on the way. I'm anxious to see what I can make from my trim/trash. I've never made or smoked hash before so this will be a new experience. Can't wait!

you'll be in for a treat. I like the 2 bucket method the best. And drying in a pyrex dish.

I'm so bummbed today someone busted down the front door and grabbed a bottle of trainwreck 4oz. Cops came and dusted tho and got a complete left hand print. they were cool with the pot he said a theft is a theft.

You act like that's no biggie. I'd have freaked to tell the cops about my stash. Pretty sure the guys around here would haul my ass straight to jail in your situation.

I'm in California and have a doctors recommendation, they don't even bother with our grow, they have even commented on how nice it is. If I was still in Illinois I would have run.

We just discovered they took a jar of stems.

.....oh yea & thanks for the tips. I need all I can get. I'm a total dummy about making some bubble, but I've been hitting the books pretty hard tonight. Hopefully by the time my bags arrive I'll be ready to make my first run. I've got everything I need except for the bags. I bought a 5 gal. 4-bag set so I'm gonna put (I guess) about 4-8 ounces in the freezer so it'll be ready to go in the ice water right after my bags arrive. Maybe I should just do like 4 ounces of bud for my first run??? Since this will be a learning experience.....any advise is much appreciated.

i think the biggest thing is to make sure its COLD. if its not cold enough the trichromes wont break off. use as much ice as possible.
since its your first time i'd do multiple runs with the same trim/buds to make sure you get as much as possible.

Sounds about like what I've been reading. When doing multiple runs with the same batch should I be concerned with how long my material stays wet? I'm sure there's a perfect instructional thread, I just don't think I've quite found it.

If I can do this well & I'm happy with the product(buzz) then I'll turn about 3-4lbs of bud into bubble. It could be that great new addiction I've been looking for

have you guys ever considered doing iso wash...when done correctly I find it superior to bubble and is far safer to make and handle...

Hey Tex. Good luck with the bubble. I just made my second attempt. First attempt I was way to careful when mixing. Just stirred carefully with a bendy plastid spoon for 20 minutes. Got clean but very small end result.

This time I used a small electric mixer set on low. Ran it for 4 minutes, let trichs sink for 1 minute, stirred with bendy plastic spoon for 4 minutes, let it sink for 1 and repeat all once. No known method. I just tried it and found it worked nice for me. Only ran a half full 4 gallon with almost leaves only. Still came out nice.

nice tex, did that come from the mazar? prepare to spend alot of time staring at stuff,i've been using my bags to make dry sift. are those sprung bags?

Well...what do yall think??? I started with 100 grams of bud. I think it turned out ok but I think I like smoking buds better. I'll make some more & hopefully I'll like the next batch better....the buds I used wasn't the best stuff...maybe that's the problem.

It was White Rhyno. I hear ya about the dry sift.

Nice hash. I never made any bubble hash, but it looks interesting. Amazing how much some people get from it. Must be a little technique involved.
