Scissor hash vs. Bubble hash

id go with the scissors hash... i like the fullsome flavour of it... also i think (subjectional impression) that the scissors is "higher" don't want to call it stronger... and of course more flavoursome... i guess it's cause we are loosing to many terpens with water extractions...

I love bubble...but there's nothing like a big ol' skizzor ball in my bowl.

How do you guys deal with your scissor hash??? My scissors usually have a decent amount of small leaf specs, it would be difficult to separate all of it. Also, who smokes their scissor hash right away, and who lets it dry....Which way is better in everyone's opinion please!

I collect mine with a razor, on a piece of a pipe that was cut in half. A half pipe. teeheehee. I dont try to seperate the small leaf out. That just adds a little flavor to the smoke, imo. After harvest is over, I collect it and let it dry. Then I grind it up in a little hand grinder and store it in an air tight tupperware container.

when trimming fresh stuff, i take "breaks" as soon as i see a half - 1mm "layer" of trichs on the scissors. also i try to remove every bit of leaf that gets stuck to the scissors (depending on the strain, leaf amount and crystal "viscosity"). either i scrape off with me nails, or use another blade, whatever is layin around

with fresh stuff, after "gathering", either i put it out to dry straight, or make small "balls", and mix them in a bigger one when finnished, let it dry for days or aslong is possible lool
tryin to repress (if in ball form) every other day...

if its scissors from dry material, i either scrape similar way minus the stuck leave, which normaly don't happen, roll in balls and smoke it (depends on the age of the dry material). by the way, would love to have a big chunk of that fresh stuff, repress it daily, and cure in glass jars for a year or two... *dream mode off

smoked some good dry scissor hash tonight and it bubbled as well! So, I prefer scissor bubble hash! lol

On a serious note, it tasted very good, I dont smoke bubble enough to compare at the moment though. It got me good and baked too.

Scissor hash has fresher terps that may have evaporated or be washed out in the water. Terps can be regulators of the thc. So fresh hash might be more active in some ways. I have noticed the buzz doesn't last as long as with bubble. Because of the terp thing bubble can also be less flavorful than scissor hash. I like it all scissor,Bubble and dry sieve. Peace GS

Great post, yeah seems scissor hash is tastier and strong, but full melt bubble is pretty unique and strong..although a bit less tastey than scissor hash imo
