Thanks for the KIND words George!

I really enjoyed your video production and look forward to seeing more...I gathered you were a very busy person this last season, which is why we fell out of touch. I am really happy to see you here posting again!

Your video was a great inspiration, and as a result I have been working with video exclusively since viewing yours. It was a pleasure to review your work, and hopefully there will be more to come!

Best wishes to you in all your future endeavours.

Biggup dude, met ya with Marihuanaman. You loved my Special K. Good to see ya here. There is already a thread here slammin ya. Would love to see that cleared up. Look forward to one day puffin with you again. Peace and nugs GS

...well we could always create a thread, "let's hate browndirt" LOL.

direct me to the thread and I will pay a visit. One of the interesting things about the criticism I face, is no one ever backs anything up with substance. It is always conjecture or thinly veiled prejudice. But you learn to have a thick skin.

I understand how the work challenges the conventions of classical film structure and see how it toys with the suspension of disbelief as a hybrid, but perhaps I upset the apple cart too far for some I don't know. The witch hunt phenomenon is very interesting, I must say, but as long as people are talking about this film I am happy -- for all roads lead to prohibition; and, to that end, this is really ultimately not about me at all ... but about my message.

you have inspired me, myfriends and many others.

your youtube videos touched me.

Love the UK. huge fan base. Let me share a story:

Not long after the movie finished, Cheech & Chong kicked off their reunion tour. I called Tommy for dates in Vancouver and he comped me a backstage pass. told me to pick it up at the window before the show. A buddy of mine wanted to go, so I emailed Tommy (after the tour had already begun) to ask him if he could please make that 2 tickets. He never got back. Disheartened, my friend decided not to show up in case there was only one pass.

The night of the show, I met up with a fan from the UK. He wanted 10 copies of my movie as stocking stuffers for his buddies back home (what a fan!). Over a beer close to the theater, I told him the story about my buddy and asked if he would like to be my guest if there was indeed two passes. He was stoked. We drank our beers, talked about the making of the movie, and, late, rushed over to the theater. You could smell the ganj a city block away. It was packed outside. the excitement was palpable. I go to the booth and give them my name. No pass at all. What the fuck? no pass for browndirtwarrior? How about george robichaud? He looks again in the drawer, then pulls out an envelope with my name on it. He dumps the contents onto the counter. Two backstage passes slip out. My buddy beamed. YES! We high-fived and headed into the theater like we owned the place. The show was awesome. Three standing ovations and a full house. We met cheech&chong backstage after and took pictures. This guy from the UK remains my good friend today. And what a story with pictures to back it up for his buddies back home!

George,

I used to grow in very large pots which often caused stress to the plants due to heating up the substrate & roots.
Then I decided to grow in holes. The ground where I live is (highly compacted) sand, I dug a lot of large holes and man how often was I thinking of your videos while I was digging in 95F+, hauling stuff, the occasional scare etc.

Love your videos!
